Future of this website

Right now we are seriously low on funds... at least $200-$400 short every month, a loss i've been enduring for the past 6 months as well as a select couple of other members.

I have cancelled 4 servers and 3 transfered others. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=496849

This month we are short $300 and i've had enough.

If we can't raise the funds by March 30th i'll will think about selling the domain and forums as they are to a new owner. The website is worth at least 5g and i could use the money.

I wish I could help.. but I cant.. I'm still -18 and I cant donate til I turn 18.
I'm planning on donating once I turn 18... I owe alot to NM.. and I'm going go give it all back.

That is not correct.

You can :

a) Get an older sibiling / friend / parent to donate on your behalf.
b) Send money via snail mail if you live in the USA or UK.

I've tried to ask my parents to let me donate but they do not let me .. they are afraid using the credit card over the internet..

i say just make this site a forum only site with no downloads
i think most of the active members wouldnt mind that

Currently the private server covers itself and some of the public downloads.
I would remove the public downloads sooner , but since my dissertation involves testing things on them, i need them up for another month or 2 at least. All other servers have been cancelled except the forum one.

And yah i thought about locking that fc just for fun but it would be awkward for bats. Doin such a fine job.

I agree with Kon. I'm mostly here for the foruming. I use bittorrent for Downloading anyways. Screw the Lurkers.. I'd donate if I could... And I planned on doing it when I turned 18 in April... But, the faithfull ones will always stay for the foruming alone.
