Here's the NarutoMania GFX interview for the month of August! This month I decided to interview none other than EndlessRain. We all love the tags she makes and her style, so I hope you enjoy the interview. =]

- Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Born and raised in Jersey..I'll be turning 17 in a few days and entering my senior year of high school soon.

- I always liked your user name. How did you come up with it?

First things first, I hateee rain. Yup. I actually got it on a former FF forum where some of the 'cool' members were naming themselves after X Japan songs, so I thought I could be cool too and decided to jump in the bandwagon and renamed myself endlessrain. Young and naive. I was too lazy afterwards to think of a new name and so I stuck with it.

- How did you discover the world of art and when did you get into it?

I've always been amazed by artists and their skills because I really can't draw for anything, but in that same forum I saw this dude making some sweet sigs and so i tried it out.

- What do you like to do when you’re not online?

Chillax. ;]..doing that as much as i can right now before school starts again.

- How long have you been a member on NM?

Hmmm..wow almost 3 years.

- How did you find out about NM?

I followed the Liberty Design peoples from NF haha..>_>

- What do you think of the GFX section on NM, and NM in general?

I don't wander far from the gfx section, so I can't say much, but the the gfx section is great, I really like how diverse it is, alotta different artists from different forums, brings fresh styles to the section.

- Do you think the GFX section has gotten worse or better over the last few years?

It has its ups and downs with activity, but I'll go with better, I've seen a a lot of peoples improved.

- Did you learn a lot from the GFX sections?

Definitely, all the different styles helped, I frequented this forum a lot to get ideas.

- Did a lot of people help you out when you were first starting out?

Haha I wish I remembered my first thread here or could search it. But hmm i don't think it was that harsh or else i woulda remembered, I could see myself not getting as much help though since i started with good ole' GIMP and everyone was an adapted PS user at the time.

- What do you think of the other NM regulars in the GFX section?

Talented..and funny. Sometimes I don't get half of what's going on in the spam section, but I do get a good laugh once in a while.

- What other forums/sites do you go on besides NM?

Gotta go to forums on asian entertainment =P. Also, narutolounge, strictly to spam in a team thread. And I lurk at tagmonkey from time to time, they make some really good stuffs.

- What programs do you use?

Photoshop CS and once in a while, Illustrator.

- Who/what inspires you to make GFX?

Definitely music, the outside world, and other people's works.

- Are you happy with your current skill level? Are there specific areas you want to work on still?

There's always room for improvement, I really want to work on larger canvases again, but I can never bring myself to. =\

- You have a very unique style in your tags. What techniques do you use in them?

Default brushes are your best friends. Use em with those brushing and blending options and as erasers. I experiment a lot with them and you'll be amazed by what nifty designs you can get.

- What are your goals for the future?

To become a doctor ;D..haha yeah something very far from the graphics world..

- Do you have any word of advice for the other artists on NM?

Practice practice practice, experiment, and have fun! To the new peeps, don't get intimidated. :]
