If Hiei was dumb enough out of pride despite being a B class demon at the time when he attacked that afro glasses guy and had his soul stolen from him, I'm sure after Hiei will most likely killing the first few espada's and finally reaching 8, he'd most likely have prepared for Hiei and prepared for counter measures.

But that was just one side of possibilities guys, the other can be considering Hiei is a high S class demon, he'd at least won't show his trump card killing off the weaker espada's until reaching 8. If 8 has no idea or knowledge of Dragon of the darkness flame then Hiei wins.

I think this battle will most likely go to my second option and will go past espada 8 considering Hiei is a beast.

Only one from Yu Yu Hakusho gang who can arguably beat 8's prep time will most likely be Kurama. He can think out of jams given the situation even if he did get the voodo doll treatment.

You can't compare speed between the two.

In both shows when they are moving their fastest they completely disappear and reappear, so they could very well be moving the exact same speed without anyone being able to truly know.

YYH has barely any speed feat, plus speed doesnt really matter since Espada number 8 and 7 can beat you even if your fast.

Why is it where endomilk is viziard is there too? None of the characters in YYH moved as fast as the chars in bleach. Hiei could beat maybe a lower espada like yama (Assuming he can pierce their skin with his fist/sword) but anyone higher like Szael or grimmjow is a resounding no.

Anyway i agree with marlie we haven't seen no hypnothesis like aizens its pretty amazing everyone we seen on bleach seems to get affected (as we seen it). I think Bleach has this to much for hiei alone
