Not sure how fast Kenpachi is, but Mayuri's bankai is unavoidable, and there's nothing Kenpachi can do to defend against it, so there's no chance for Kenpachi to win.

Just as long as Ken has to breathe then he can't win. Not to mention he's a melee fighter. If he gets in close he's dead.

Exactly, if the poison doesn't kill him fast enough, the spikes that erupt from Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo would just stab the hell out of him.
Ken doesn't stand a chance, even if he is the strongest of the captains, poison will always win.

um....ken has pulled impossible feats before. he owned tousen in a place which is even more rigged than mayuri so i wouldn't count him out just yet. that said i still think mayuri will still win after a long ass battle.

Kenpachi has proved to be a great fighter and even previle in his fight against espada #5. Being able to take his eyepatch of during battle will give him an extra boost in power that will, I belive slow down Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo.

Is that enough to take down the made sciencetist? No, because he has something that Kenpachi lacks, Poision. Kenpachi is a melee type of fighter so coming in close will be his only option.

I do believe Ken would put up a good fight, but in the end, poison will just own him.
And when he gets close to fight, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo can stab him with his weird neck-spikes.

Mayuri just has to dodge. This fight is pretty unfair lol. Kenpachi knows no kidou, he can't do anything against Mayuri. Cruel...

Mayuri is pretty h4x. Same as Soi Fon. Both of those guys would beat a majority of Bleach characters seeing as how both are poison users. Soi is just as fast as Yoruichi and all it takes is two stabs to kill anyone and just as long as you have to breathe your at a disadvantage against Mayuri.

Ken won due to tousen underestimating him. Mayuri isnt one to do that and his poison takes no prisoners. Mayuri in what would be a very one sided fight regardless of kens overpowering reiatsu and strength.

If kubo wrote the fight mayuri would lose in some BS way but if both are allowed to use their full skillset than it is mayuri by a mile

Mayuri might not even need Bankai to win...

Paralysing the limbs with just Shikai is pretty hax. Only chance Kenpachi has got of taking this out is if he oneshots Mayuri straight up with Kendo.

The problem with Mayuri using Shikai, is that Kenpachi has a reiatsu aura that is monstrous. Mayuri going near Kenpachi will be the end of him. Bankai is the way to go.

Mayuri shikai paralizes its opponents so even then kenpachi would be screwed if he got hit...unless he can pull off some Quincy magic...Mayuri Bankai and its over though doubt it would get that far Shikai is enough. Techniques and intellect can overcome brute strength.

I don't know why people keep implying that Kenny can just stomp any captain that comes near him with his reitsu. His a reitsu freak yeah, but so are the other captains. They would just fall to their knees from feeling his reitsu. I mean really get real. Kenpachi made ichigo, pre bankai, pre really knowing his zanpaktou, the garbage useless guy with the fireworks, to the medical geek to their knees. and almost made them pass out from is reitsu, but they where weak. His reitsu does not equal win if some one gets close to him. Saying that, mayuri, would stomp Kenpachi, a slice here and there, and it's going to happen. Kenpachi is done.

Mayuris shikai is pointless unless he can actually hit ken and his bankai is a huge target if Ishida can blast it to pieces so can ken.
