Yourichi vs. Urahara

i seem to recall that uri guy when they start to amke there retreat and urahara and yoruichi - say where you off too - he says something like are you so sure you can win while have to protect those two or something to taht effect

and he also said something liek thats shinwhatever yoruichi and urahara kisuke we cant win against them

now not !00%obout these but i can imagine they popped into my head from nowhere i really aught to go back and reread the relevant chapters but you say uri badded away uruahareas attack - well urarhara did the same to yamis - jsut because uri used his hands doesn't mean it didn't take more out of him than it did for urahara

anyway if aizen didn't fear urahara then whats with all the hding in the soul scociety when he could come down adn got rukia himself no he engineered it so he never had to go near urahara - if he had really wanted it badly enough he could have come down hypnotised urarhara and got all the info he needed out of him but no he didn't so aizen is scared of urahara if you ask me

quite sure if urahara hadn't been blocked form entering the soul society he would have rescuesd rukia - killed aizen and all would be well

dont get me wrong i'm not saying yoruichi is weak far from it - she escaped byakuya while carring ichigo who is about 2 her size and did so easily - but urahara is uber powerful

I think it is impossible to determine a winner until we see Urahara go all out....

So far, Yoruichi has shown us two times when she used only her body and soul power as a weapon at the same level as a ban-kai. The first was showing a speed to rival even Ichigo's ban-kai. The second was in fighting her former vice captain. Both of these times, she never even released shi-kai. She also seems to have the power to transform in some way into an animal, something we haven't seen from anyone else in the series that I can recall.

Urahara is an excellent teacher, and he found a way to get ban-kai in 3 days, as well as a way to turn into a shinigami/hollow hybrid. Clearly he is a genius, and a master shinigami. Not to mention, he was SO good, that he was banished forever from SS.

In their recent fight together to help save Ichigo and the others, Yoruichi got hurt because she didn't consider that she wasn't in soul society anymore, so she would take normal damage instead of just the spiritual kind. Urahara showed surprize when the smaller hollow/shinigami knocked away his attack. That means he really felt that blow should have landed. Clearly Urahara isn't as powerful as some seem to think, just as Yoruichi isn't perfect either.

Had Aizen been fighting his henchmen in place or Yoruichi and Urahara, they would have been dead instantly instead of being allowed to escape.

Yourichi wouldn't go down fast, but it's obvious IMO that Urahara is probably on the same level as the old guy and Aizen. (Yeah I put old guy and Aizen at about the same level.) Yorichi is probably almost at that level. Wouldn't have a hard time with any of the other captains, but would probably tap out aginst those two.

So I go for Urahara.

Agree with most your stuff I don't know about saying that aizen & urahara are up there with yama-old man that guy seems to be in a league of his own right now.His spirit pressure was higher then shunsui & ukitake at shikai level those two are 2 of the strongest senior captains in ss right now who are probably the youngest senior captains (if you add up every shinigami).

The only person that could be like yama is probably kenpachi but its gonna take a while before kenpachi becomes uber strong like yama.

But yes I think urahara would beat yoruchi they've been sparring partners for so long.I don't think urahara actually losses to yoruchi in speed afterall the guy is a genius & is teh guy created 2 of the greatest ways to become strong I'm pretty sure he can handle yoruchi's speed or is as fast as her.

^^^^^^Agreed I always said that aizen planned everything to avoid urahara so many times!!!! Cause he was shook of urahara so he planned all that just yo avoid urahara.

As for marlie thinking that uriquola is all that saying he can handle urahara attacks(my theorys about that are in one of the 194 threads)the guy admitted he could'nt bang with urahara & yoruchi & duck out quickly.
The worst part is that when he came he said that there's 3 people that they couldn't handle in the real world.Anyway

I think urahara would beat yoruchi even though we don't know there full strength. I would say urahara cause he was a captain ,he has a soul slayer
& the fact that is he could be a vaizard or litterally an actual vaizard member??????.

^^^For him being a vaizard I would think so cause if you look at his creations they were all to do with gaining more power.
So there's a high possibilty that he is half shinigami/half hollow.

I don't think yoruchi has a soul slayer due to the fact that if she did she would be exactly like soi fong no point having the same type of character so I think yoruchi has no soul slayer she just use's spells & hand to hand combat.Remember she's not a gotei 13 captain she's a keigun special force captain.

And to those morons saying that say that urahara is out of practice did you not read or did you not watch the anime before yoruchi the cat form came & before ichigo went to ss.Urahara had his training room under his shop which later we find out that where ichigo is training for ban-kai is exactly the same as the training room under urahara's shop.

And when urahara brang out a secret weapon kurosaki isshin>>> he said that ss must be preparing for battle just like us (talking to urahara).

Urahara is still a little out of practice, since Only the boy and girl goes out and kills the Hollows, Urahara maybe meditating or what not, becuase after all he still has a store to run.

well they both have mad battle experience, they're best friends, trained together... i'd say kisuke jus becuz he seems to b holdin back way too much, also generally in manga n anime "retired legendary" characters r always considered to b among the greatest ever n they r usually the last ones to show their true strengh.

urahara used to be a legendary researcher... he has done so many things in the past while he's still in the soul society.. he has research about so many stuffs even Aizen acknowledged him... the hell with Yuroichi, she has problem in defeating her former student(the captain girl)...

yes both urahara and yuroichi are legends.. both has their specialities... but I think there is a gap of power between Urahara and Yuroichi... I think this way, Urahara is the strongest of the good group.. that's why he just bosses around and didn't follow yuraoichi and others to the soul society to save rukia... he has planned with ichigo's father about something... he has yet to show his ability...
