Although this chapter barely moved a minute, I still enjoyed it, I lol'd @ the convo between the most laid back shinigami and espada.

what the f..., hitsu's fighting one of the top 3 espada? If he wins I'm going to be so pissed off and Kubo has really sold the soul of bleach. Also find it weird Ukitake and Shinsui are both fighting Stark

Honestly...Soi Fon shouldn't play with this bitch..if it were me I'd just release the shikai and kill her really, REALLY quickly.

lol @ Yama stomping his cane on air

and lol @ Ukitake commenting that he's NEVER seen Shunsui tense in his entire life. That really does say something about what a beast the he must be.

It's also really insulting on the part of Barragan to do what he's doing. He's fighting the most powerful warriors in the SS and he sends his fraccion...his fraccion aren't Espada and frankly because they aren't Espada they will be crushed. He has to know this...or he just that arrogant to exhaust ALL his options before he decides to lift a finger.

And I'm really starting to suspect that under that top is some scary, hideous Mileena shit from Halibel. Watch her have fuckin' no bottom jaw or something.

The conversation between Ukitake and Shunshui, Stark and Shunshui were the highlight of chapter. Ukitake is joking since the begining, seemed not to worry until Shunshui said that he was tense. Shunshui appears to be tense, eager to fight, a exception for him. What does Shunshui has detected about Stark?
NarutoSamaman Shunshui is show crossing swords with Stark so there will be Stark vs Shunshui. Ukitake and Lilinete stand on the sidelines for now.
Matsumoto taking on 3 Fracciones? Matsumoto going against an Espada? Both of them are crazy.

more like its a ploy for kubo to drag this arc by sending Barragan's fraccion to fight Soifon as they serve no purpose at all

We've never seen exactly how her Shikai works, correct? She may be due for an explanation. I just hope she doesn't join the Bankai club.

I was pleased at the pacing this week, hopefully Kubo will keep it up.

Despite no action the chapter was decent.

Hitsu v Halibel doesn't bother me that much cause I'm really not expecting him to win. Even if by some chance he does, I'm sure there'll be a good explanation.

Starks v Shunsui (sp..) is going to be a war when they both eventually decide to get serious.

I think Soifon will make quick work of the fraccion(s) and then she'll match up against Barragan. Don't see why she'll have any trouble with them.

As for Matsumoto, it'll come to the what her Shikai actually does. Kubo wouldn't just match her up with these 3 fraccion for no reason. Could be a possible build up to Bankai? Who knows....

So is stark going to fight two captains at once? This makes me wonder if he really is the top espada, although barragan seems very calm, just like yama, but this may be because he has that "old man" personality... if he ends up giving yama a good fight I'll call him espada#1, but if stark takes on both captains at once with ease then he is either #2 or #1 (if yama can take both captains at once and barragan takes on yama in a good fight then barragan can certainly take on the captains that stark is about to face).

But somehow I think hitsugaiya will get some help and matsumoto too... there's still some vicecaptains floating around and a captain too so they might just go in to fight. This is getting bitchin' alright

i agree with you 100%, however, imagine if hits loses or even dies. kubo would lose major fans and if that happens the manga suffers. so, most likely halibel may lose.

I wasn't too impressed by this chapter. Not that I mind building up, but the dialogue wasn't too great IMO, and there seemed to be a lot of space wasting.

Anyway, from what we seem to be getting, looking foreward to Stark vs Shunsui the most. The rest, not so much.
Also wondering what kinda power-up his scoring first place in the last popularity poll got Hitsugaya.

kubo hasn't killed any heroes in "bleach" yet. i'm wondering who will bite the bullet. and i think the battles in hueco mundo are going to better than in karakura town.

Then Kubo would have to somehow revive him due to Hitsugaya being the seventh most popular anime character in Japan (Dunno if this is about relatively new anime or if it includes old ones like DBZ and manga stuff, but the point remains). Hitsugaya's fans serve as a plot shield even greater than Suigetsu does for team hawk. Well, that's taking it a little far, but still... He's pretty much non-killable right now.

If Kubo is going to have Yama make such a bold statement somone better die or at least lose. The only way I will tolerate SS winning this skirmish is if Aizen comes out of the fire and wipes out everyone.
