nokia n95

is it any good? I'm thinking of either getting it, a samsung touchwiz or a sony ericson w980
I sort of prefer the nokia
but in al honesty don't care much. I mean it's nice to have a decent quality phone camera and an mp3 player all in one but it's not critical.

uh i just bought one. seriously, its useless. all i use it for is text/call....none of that other bs. but if you have any questions i'll be happy to answer them

is the photo quality any good? how is the slider thing holding up? is it getting worn out like i think it will?

I'll probably play some games on it too but that's not exactly important...

I'd say iPhone, but that's me. Other than that, the new Samsung iPhone competitor model seams nice. But if you want 16GB of MP3 in the same box that carries Phone and SMS, and alot more applications, you should really try an iPhone.

I've had both, currently I have the N95. and personally I like it better than the Iphone.

1 i'm not sure who the cellphone provider is
2 i'm pretty sure it'll be expensive as fuck over here.

mostly it's between those 3 and another iphone look alike from lg but i heard that it's pretty crappy.

so i'm back, i ended up buying a Sony Ericsson W910i for one reason... the nokia n95 and the others cost nearly a grand ($), not kidding either. they're way too expensive for what basically will spare me from getting an mp3 player.

actually im considering gettting an n95 as well, i have the shadow but its rlly slow and the video playback is kinda crappy, so hows the video on n95? i think my friend used to have 1, but it got messed up, but i remember it had sum pretty good video playback

Advantage: Wifi, Easy and album art supported MP3 GUI, Excellent Camera, Excllent 3rd party application support
Disadvantage: Need to know more than how to use a regular phone, Need to know what goes on around S60 community/lingo

In other words, if you are a phone noob, you really won't find this phone useful at all. Or try to learn... fast

I do not recommend anything from LG. Myself and 2 other friends all have LG handsets, and wished to discard them like a couple weeks after it was purchased. That is... the chocolate, shine slider, and the iphone lookalike you speak of. Battery life is shit, the phone actually LAGS on the iphone lookalike, and the screen fps is also very choppy when using the camera.
