Is a sequel to Fate/Stay night possible?

Well i just wonder ig you think it is possible that the could make a sequel to this good anime? and was teh holy grail relly destroyed?

Sequel, no. It would be nice in a way because Fate/Stay is an awesome anime, but on the other hand the Grail magically turning-out-not-having-been-destroyed-after-all is a pretty lame way to rehash this series.

Prequel, YES.

I think the whole point of the war is that its can't be destroyed...it's only been destroyed in THAT war.

Think about it, throughout history there have to have been people who have obtained it or destroyed it. If you obtain the Holy Grail by all means...the war should stop, it doesn't.

In one the game scenarios when Archer dies he makes a comment about how he will continue to fight and be summoned into future wars.

they dont have material to make a sequel but making one for each scenario is a good idea

Hmm... I wouldn't mind seeing some OVAs on the different scenarios. Especially Unlimited Blade Works. ^.^

for me Unlimited Blade works is second, i want to see Heaven's Feel, im very interested in Archer's turn of events but i want to see more ass kicking plus Heaven's Feel have a sequel to follow up to

Actually if u pay close attention to the series a second season could be possible. It already stated that Saber destroyed the Holy Grail in the 4th war so ya theres plenty of possibilites for a second season the creator just needs to stop taking their fucking time.

Haven't played the game(s), but isnt it so that the main lead whose name I've forgotten, is actually Archer? I'd love to see how that happens. My only fear is that if they do actually make a sequel\prequel it gonna suck and I dont want that

Its based on a Visual Novel, its like a glorified book, with some music, one or two cutscenes and voices. Oh and some porn scenes thrown in

In the original game, there were 3 storylines you could pursue.

But yeah it is true Archer was an alternate future of Shiro. It was heavily hinted at in the anime. Where both have similar powers, Archer calls Illya by her first name, Archer helps Shiro with his powers before Archer dies.
