This is a major plot development. I would say Naruto has just been given his major weapon against a powerful mangekyou sharingan or better user, but what tosses a wrench into this is the fact that the Mangekyou Sharingan is said to be able to control the 9 tails, but then, I suppose that was only possible because the 9 tails, by itself, wouldn't have a partner. I like this new development.

The 8 tails is pretty impressive and things have just gotten pretty impressive. Why am I starting to think that the 8 tail's older brother is more powerful than he is even though he possesses the 8 tail bijuu. Sasuke really is out of his league on this one. He's reduced to such a point that Karin has to constantly come to his aide and Juugo is about to lend Sasuke some of his chakra and some body by assimilating with him? I don't know what could be a more embarassing way for someone's powerlessness to be on display. Sasuke, at this point, NEEDS Itachi's eyes. I think that's what this is all building to.

What are you talking about. Chiyo explained it in much detail during their encounter with Itachi.

You are right, but that was an outside influence. I never once thought about the possibility of the tailed beast inside of the host actually being able to work with their partner in such perfect synchronous to counter a powerful genjutsu user so effortlessly.

To top it off, Sasuke used the Mangekyou when he casted this Genjutsu. Do you guys suspect at all that it was a normal genjutsu and Sasuke is about to surprise everyone by saying "Now let me show you Tsukyomi"?

Do any of you guys think that the 8 tail mentioning his older brother is significant in anyway? He mentioned that nobody has been able to dodge the 8th tail since his older brother. That must clearly mean that his older brother is a pretty formiddable shinobi. I'm hoping that's a hint that the 8 tail's story has a ways to go yet and we'll be seeing much more of him.

That's how I believe Sasuke got out of that MS justu Itachi casted on him.When the CS2 infused him with more chakra the genjustu broke.So I guess anybody with two or more chakra sources can possibly break a high level genjustu tech.

Thats what I said. Sorry for not directly quoting. The gist of what he said in that interview was that he wasn't going to write much about Naruto this year. It was a follow up question to the comment he made about focusing one kakashi and Sakura. Since neither one of them has been highlighted the waiting is far from over.

Actually, he said he would write about Kakashi and Sakura next. Then Naruto was brought up and he responded with he has to wait... This makes me think that when Pein arrives at Konoha, Naruto and the elder frog will still be in the mountains. I think Kishi will focus on Sakura and Kakashi while Naruto remains MIA.


As for this fight, as much as I love it.. i already know Sasuke is going to win. I mean he is about to get a b.s powerup. Juugo is going to fuse with Sasuke into a more powerful CS (since juugo is the original). Now we will have CS3 Sasuke with MS.. If that happens im going to be piiiiisssssed.

As I've always said, if Naruto would actually learn to use Kyuubi and Rasengan and KB effectively, he'd be nearly unstoppable. Now add on Futon Rasenshuriken to Kyuubi Naruto. Now, just for the hell of it, toss on some Senjutsu to that.

Do you think kishi is using this fight in order to reveal information relevant to the future in regards to Naruto's Jinchuuriki fighting ability—somewhat of a leeway or ease by which certain things can happen in battle—, or do you think that Kishi might let the 8 tails survive and possibly set up an exchanging of info—Jinchuuriki to Jinchuuriki?

The reason I ask is because it seems that Naruto's training is running on the path of his predecessors when not much has been emphasized on controlling Kyubbi. Or maybe Naruto has become stronger to control kyubbi?

This shit's gettin' gooooooooood......... I really wanna see how Sasuke's going to be able to take this behemoth down. He's gonna have to bust out some Amaterasu or Susanoo or another MS tech of godly proportions stat. Or Kirin, I guess, but honestly I don't think even that would cut it at this point.
