This is one of the worst fights kishi has ever scripted. It was pathetic from beginning to end. Its nothing like the sasuke deidara fight. I like sasuke but the way he won didnt do justice at all. It should have taken something more grandiose to defeat K bee and not amaterasu out of the blue and whats up with the new power thingy. (the only new thing was stopping amaterasu which isnt new in the sense). Kishi should have done more with team hebi, their first major fight shouldnt have been with daddy K bee who just washed the floor with them.
-- Naruto's training is progressing fast and cant wait to see what new moves he can do with the whole senjutsu thing. I'm sick as hell of kage bunshin and rasengan. A main character should have more moves up his sleeves. Things should get interesting over the next few chapters.
- I agree with quagz, kishi was trying to appease both sasuke haters and lovers in a very stupid way and the outcome was total bs. Hope he learns from this.

You're usually spot on Cane, but you're mistaken on this one.

Madara didn't dodge anything. His shoulder clearly bursts into flames. The flames appear to set half his body ablaze. The caption even says "Tobi is engulfed in black flames; can it be?" He drops his mask, backing into the darkness. He's hollering while it happens. First silence, then he walks out of the darkness and picks up his mask with no flames in sight.

We don't yet know what happened. If the flames never touched him, like Naruto's rasengan, how did it grow from the little flame on his shoulder to the flame that engulfed his body? What was it burning?

I interpreted that scene as Itachi's MS "appearing" on Sasuke's eyes because Sasuke was acting under Itachi's MS genjutsu. Itachi first gave Sasuke his techniques, then genjutsu'ed him into using the Amaterasu the next time he saw Madara's sharingan.

In every other instance of the series when someone is acting under sharingan genjutsu, you see the sharingan in their eyes, so I am assuming this is the same.

I thought madara said "Now that that's taken care of" while talking about itachi's trap. Which i interpreted as "I've got rid of it".

But i could be hugely mistaken.

Kishi iz soon gonna have 2 explain how madara duz that. It haz been stated by sakura and kakashi az space/time. Still, there iz more to it than just that.

i think that the jutsu naruto is tlking about is flash step the same move that the 4th had (his father), just a guess

After the amaterasu hits his shoulder, he steps back into the darkness and sasuke covers his eye.
He only hints that he was able to supress the amaterasu on his shoulder by saying"Thankfully i kept a few things secret from itachi"

He gave sasuke all of his MS techniques, and we can see that sasuke can use them with his own MS, but when the automatic Amaterasu shows itself whenever tobi reveals his sharingan, his left eye is that of itachis "Shurikan" MS.

Hmm, i don't know.

We don't even know if the 4th went through senjutsu training.

I say this because why would naruto, a guy who is one of the chakra power houses in the naruto world, need senjutsu training to do the jutsu his father did?

So far, we know of two people who have been through this training, jiraiya and now naruto(still going through it.)

Adding to what stig said, Naruto also doesn't know the 4th was his father so there isn't a huge reason for him to try his jutsus. *Although I do agree that is probably something we haven't seen naruto do yet. *

Also though, maybe now he'll be able to hold four tails better, as he recovers faster his own skin peeling off wont effect him as much, plus he'll have even more chakra so he might be able to stay in a more conscious state like the 8th tale seemed to be.

I like this new Shady Naruto...

A naruto that looks like he has bags under his eyes, he doesn't tell people what he's thinking(we're seriously like two chapters away from Naruto telling Pa Frog "Don't worry about it... pssft, I mean I got THAT justu..."), he doesn't shout anymore, doesn't even wear the orange jumpsuit.

I like this new shady naruto cause he's got mystery and a little bit of depth, and in typical Kishi fashion, the main character with the same name as the title only gets like two pages of screen time, I like the progression he's showing.

like two chapters ago he was half frog.. two chapters later he's lifting statue's being like "yeah, I can do THAT justu now..."

I like this Naruto much better. It's ironic, because it's everything Sasuke wanted and still wants to be.

(but is this implying he can almost do Hermit-mode now? I mean it's been like a day of training... thats kinda of ridiculous, within the same time it takes Sasuke to battle a beast, Naruto learns Senjustu and Hermit mode? Thats awesome. Go Naruto. He's gonna be a Beast someday.)

How long did Itachi use his MS before going blind, I also want sasuke to go blind but it wont happen any soon, since he is not using his MS dat much. Besides, i m pretty sure dat he'll accept itachi eyes soon or later

he's not quite there yet. he's still using the frog oil to control the nature chaka. pa frog just now told him to try it without the oil, so he's still a lil bit away from from using hermit mode. he's making progress ridiculously fast though.

I don't think there's going to be a hermit mode for Naruto. Hermit mode was Jiraiya not properly balancing his chakra with the natural energy he absorbed so he needed Ma and Pa frogs' help. He would turn slightly into a toad because of too much natural energy. Naruto already can balance the new chakra. He won't need Ma and Pa Frogs' help. He'll be able to balance it so he won't start turning into a frog at all.

Unless what you mean by hermit mode is using Senjutsu, I don't think Naruto will be using hermit mode.

I could be wrong though.

i'm not sure either if happybuddha was referring to the transformation, or simply the use of senjutsu in a fight, but either way, naruto isn't yet to the point where he can do what jiraiya did with senjutsu in that fight. he is just now about to start trying to gather nature energy without the oil. he clearly has a lot more work to do first.

You're quite right. I wasn't suggesting that Naruto had surpassed Jiraiya or even reached his level during the Pein fight. All I was saying was that Naruto has learned how to balance his chakra when including the natural energy. That's the most basic thing to Ninjutsu and to Senjutsu. If he can balance it with the oil sucking up all that natural energy, he should be able balance it when he learns to absorb it himself. Knowing Naruto he might absorb to little natural energy and have his jutsu fizzle, but he won't be turning into a toad anytime soon by absorbing too much natural energy.

That's all I was saying. The hermit mode or sage mode or whatever in part refered to Jiraiya's looking like a toad because he couldn't quite balance his chakra and got a little too much natural energy. He still was a total badass when it came to jusu.

Can't wait to see whats next for Naruto. As others have said it will be nice to see him using more techniques. Although I'm sure kage bunshin will always be part of his fighting style. I think it will be a key way for him to access his opponents.

As for the 8 tails and the Sauske fight like all of you I was pretty dispapointed. However I was pretty disapointed from the begining. In my oppinion in the time line 8 tails always took to long to make his next move. It seemed to me he waited several times where he could have moved faster and killed them sooner. Maybe Kishi did this on purpose to show that the 8 tails was to confident and when Sasuke did the amaterasu the 8 taisl was "dumb founded" to see that he was able to pull this off with what has happened. I just really hope he does not get away with the 8 tails. I want to see
