We had an interesting lesson today.
When using adverbs and verbs to describe something, it gets the same function as adjectives.
So saying: 早い車は。。。 you say somehing about the fast car. But if you want to say like: That fast car is moving here.　あの早い車はここに走っている。Still the adverb as adjective. But if you want to say: That fast moving car, you put the verb before the noun and it makes for a descreption. あの早い走っている車は。。。
I thought the rule for putting the verb last was for all kind of situations. And then you want to screw the whole sentence up, you want to think and feel about it. You put to think about as a verb in it.
あの早い走っている車は早くないだと思っている。I don't think that the fast moving car is fast.

All this small little discoveries turns the whole view on japanese a little bit at a time.

Wounder on how I should write the things in the parenthesis, any suggestions? (this is my "untranslated" homework):

Tomoko-san: Hanako wa toshokan no gakusei ni desu. Kanojo wa gakusei desu. Watashi tachi no musumue no shumi wa dokusho desu. Yamada, (please call her keita denwa and tell her to get home).

Anata: Kyô wa (fun).
Tomoko-san: Hai, watashi tachi no denwa bango wa zero san – san shichi hachi – ni ni go roku. (Call us when you are free).

A side note too, it should be on formal since this was the first time they meet. You could write it in romanji, but I know it is quite a taboo to do that.

Not sure what you're trying to say here.

Yamada-san, if you're going for formality

1. Missplaced the words lol it should have been gakusei no toshokan, aka student library.

2. Well you didn't know but the one whom tells him to call her was his wide, so I skipped the formality there.

3. "Today was fun" was the thing I wanted to say right. Hmm be careful with ha and wa?

It's pronounced "wa" but written as "ha," similar to "o" and "wo"

I think your instructor will teach this. (Assuming you're taking a course)

Kanojo / 彼女 - it's also used to refer a female

Nokorijikan ha dorekurai arimasuka? / 残り時間はどれくらいありますか? - you can just have "Nokorijikan ha?" but it's a bit infromal.
Edit: actually, you don't need nokori- unless you want "time left"

What kind of schedule? You could probably just use Sukeju-ru / スケジュール

Koko ni arimasu / ここにあります - might sound wrong in the wrong context

Jikan ha arimasu / 時間はあります - again, depends on context

And usually everything should be written in formal by default so don't worry about saying it's formal. Converting it to informal isn't that hard anyways.

I would have attempted to say "Jikan ha ikura desuka?" for "How much time do we have?".

Just use arimasuka instead of desuka, otherwise it would be "how much is time?"
