Miss the humor of the early bleach episodes? Stuff like the Ichigo/Rukia playful banter, the Kon factor, Ichigo's dad and sisters. All the stuff that was there early on, but which seems to have disappeared, or at least grown very very scarce lately.

I ask because I've found myself rewatching them lately.

I would pick the old humour over the current clowning provided by Pesche and his friend.

Lately its been all business, the comic relief we sometimes got was a nice change of pace but I am big on action so its whatever, more lulz would be nice sometime in the near future though.

Idk Pesche and Dondochakka (mostly Pesche) provide adequate lulz these days. Plus the plot is alot darker and ominous then the first arcs so they can't afford as much lulz as before.

There was a brief return to that kind of humor when the post ss/post filler episodes started during the arrancar arc

also the humor in gintama more than makes up for the lack of humor in bleach I more than recommend it
