Bashing thread man. Anywayz i thought it wuz a coo chapter with shunsui and stark. I really hope kubo don't fuck it up and make lilienete a decent fight 4 ukitake, the way kubo be throwing sum curve ballz. Also an early release of the chapter wuz a good surprise.

Chapter was definitely better than what we have had in weeks, and i wonder how that chimera works.

On another note, whoever hinamori's career consultant was needs to be fired.....she seriously should have given up the shinigami option and became a kidou master.
She is obviously more adept at kidou.

hell the first time we saw her use kidou(or more accurately the aftermath) was when she broke out of the shinigami jail.

Either she overpowered whatever protection that jail had, or they didnt expect her to be capable of blasting out of there.

I would say Hinamori is easily the most clever of the LTee's... and she makes her work look easy too, she would be such a SICK vizard.

Chap was interesting.. one thing. Ukitaki, who could very well be stronger than Shunsui (he's sick, so it evens the two out) is facing a fraccion. That means just cause Stark is facing one of the Top Captainss dont mean he's Espada #1.

Kubo would throw almost everyone off if #1 was really Halibel just from him placing her with Hitsugaya..making her seem #2ish.

Anyways, we already have a chimera! Zabimaru. I hope this shit gets one shotted, but if it's an excuse for us to see if Tits Mcghee has Bankai.. then shit, I can't wait for the next chap.. I dont know thou, we may be in for an unexpected suprise w/in the next two chaps..

Wow, crazy. Stark and Shunsui about to go head to head. I'm really digging how anxious Shunsui appears to be for this fight to get as dangerous as possible. Stark is so relaxed that he just seems like the perfect fit for the #1 Espada.

Then again, as someone else has already pointed out, it would be pretty crazy if Kubo ended up pulling a fast one and Halibel is the true #1 Espada.

Then again, I've never underestimated Hitsugouya's skill and/or power so it wouldn't surprise me if he were tasked with taking on the #1 Espada.

I'm also still staying on the lookout for the very real possibility that Ulquiorra is special and may very well be a Vasto Lorde. Also not ignorant of the real possibility that from Espada 1-4, the strength rules may be different. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it were revealed that Espada #2 is stronger than Espada #1 and Espada # 4 is stronger than Espadas 1, 2 and 3. I know Uliquiorra will put up an amazing fight, but no way Ichi just gets handed the weaker of the remaining Espada. There has to be something different about Uli.

Ulquiorra spooks me out.. I guess it's his better than thou ego, but it may be possible he is the most ept out of all the espada.. but no, he's not vasto, hes just the coolest looking arrancar lol

I know Linette said they don't have ages BUT they do have ages at which they died as humans which would set their appearance for when they become Arrancar.

I mean, she clearly died as a child, became a Hollow and when she became an Arrancar she got a large chunk of her human form back.

So technically she's a child...physically.

the only f'd up thing about ukitake is that rangiku was about to die before hinamori entered and he was sitting there twiddling his thumbs, also this is a war who cares if its unfair.

Not to sound like I am complaining but when is a character from SS going to lose. Ikkaku technically lost but he seemed fine by the end of the chapter not to mention that his pillar fuck up was saved by a serious plot device. Now we see the fraccion release in this chapter which by all indications means that they will be dying pretty soon. Now unless Aizen seriously over estimated his army something is not right.

I loved the give and take between Stark and Shunsui. However I found an odd inconsistency in Ukitake's character. Why would he intentionally antagonize Linette by telling her to go home and play ball? He must know that these fights are to the death. Is he trying to get her to attack him so he won't feel so bad when he takes her out? But that type of self serving logic doesn't match his character. He then says "good grief" as if he doesn't know why she would be pissed off enough to want to fight him. It just seems... odd.

you know this "chimera" fight is going to be the sum of the chapters for the remainder of the year, i know kubo is going to take a week off next month, so it's really 3 chapters after this week.

if you've been reading bleach since the beginning and following the story well, then this shouldn't be all that surprising to some bleach fans, kubo always pulls some sh*t like this, just to drag the story out. probably in march is when things will start to pick up, i'm guessing the rematch between ulquiorra and ichigo won't happen until may or something.

after hinamori and rangiku beat this chimera thing, then they'll have to fight the 3 fraccions, if none of them die first or if another vice captain doesn't show up first. might get some quick shots of ukitake and lilinette, then when all is said and done, it's either going to be the barragan vs. soi fon fight or the halibel and hitsugaya fight, the shunsui and stark thing is going to be last. i got a feeling that's where everything is going to turn out for the worst for the good guys.

I just want to know why Kubo doesn't get Nano involved in the Chimera fight. We still don't know what she's capable of yet and I want to know what that Book/Zanapkuto can actually do.

Chapter was badass the Shunsui and Stark convo had me grinning with joy. That arrancar joining to make a more powerfull one was pretty cool I srsly thought it was another "and another warrior appears" kind of thing, you got me Kubo. Ukitake fight will be interesting as well, been wanting to see his power for quit some time.

Could it be that most of the fights are'nt taking place in the same area. Lilli, Ukitake, Stark and Shunsui and in the same area and Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Matsu and the others are somewhere else in the town. It's not like they're fighting right next to each other. That was the case they would have felt that explosion Hinamori did.

And where the hell are Ukitaki's leiutenants? Those two weirdos.. i guess he wasnt inclined to have them get involved.

About his lieutenants...he never picked another VC after what his face died...so I doubt he thought they would be any capable in the fight. Aside from that...Rukia imo is basically his acting VC. She's obviously the strongest in the divsion aside from Ukitake himself, but Byakuya is the one blocking her from becoming one. If Bleach continues, I wouldn't be surprised to see her become a VC as killing an Espada is grounds for prommotion despite what power your brother holds...I'd think anyway.


And the Rangiku mess, I probably agree there, and again have to stress that all these fights are happening at mostly the same time. Ukitake is the "Nice guy" Captain, so if something really was happening to her, he'd probably save her, or maybe that's what Konamura's job is; playing cavalry.
