Now this is the story all about how
The universe got flipped, turned upside down
And Id like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you how I became the savior of a town called City 17,

In west Black Mesa, born and raised
On the labground's where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And doing some science outside of the school
When a grey suited man, he was up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
He got in one little A-bomb and G-man got scared
He said 'You're moving with your aunty and uncle in City 17!'

I whistled for a train and when it came near the
Licensplate said Freeman and had a crowbar in the mirror
If anything I could say that this train was rare
But I thought I saw Breen,
yo home to City 17!
