Flu Shots

Are fucking gay. Who's idea was it to give a healthy man a shot to give him the flu so he won't get the flu. I just got it around 7:00 yesterday morning and by 9:00 pm the same day I was already sick with a headache, body aches and chills. Flu shots fucking suck. I wish the military did'nt make them mandatory or else I would'nt get them. Inb4manup

Fuck you Kaz...I was putting it off in hopes they'd forget that I did'nt get it. They found out and made me get it. I though they were gonna give me the mist cause all you have to do is blow that shit out once you leave the room but they ran out and gave me the good ol syringe full o mercury. I felt like ass all night at work.

I was perfectly fine as of 7:00 am yesterday....no sooner than a few hours later after it I was already sick. This shit sucks ass....this means no going to da club, no going to the gym and no drinking. I don't even feel like playing the vidya I'm so tired and achy.

Only pussies voluntarily take flu shots, sucks for you guys I object to the idea of giving myself the mans poision when nothing is wrong with me. A friend of mine is going to school to be a nurse and she has to take a flu shot or she can't go to school.

i got a flu shot...and i'm not sick right now. i hate getting sick. i might as well at least attempt to prevent myself from getting it.

i have received a flu shot before in the past and have ended up getting sick during that time. sometimes flu shots may not be as effective because there are a lot of different flu strains out there. the flu vaccines that are prepared may only prevent, like maybe 3 or so of the strains that scientist hypothesize to be the most prevalent in that season. in some cases, the scientists' assumptions become faulty (they chose the wrong major strains to prepare a defense against).

I always got sicks from the flu shots, always. The shit of it is the 19 years before I joined the military I never got the flu.

And the rest of you don't seem to understand the term mandatory. It starts off with a dozen or so emails, and signs posted everywhere. Then it's at muster and whenever the commander talks about shit. Then it's a special email to the people who haven't gotten the shot yet. (The email is still sent to everyone though.) Then your supervisor says "wtf is goin on man? Go get your shot!" And then you have to go on lunch and bring back the signed fucking form. Shit is silly.

My brother, because of his diabetes, has to get the flu shot every year, i have yet had one. I get sick once a year, usually takes me out for a couple days, then i'm good for the rest of the year
