Cartoon Network?

Has Cartoon Network dropped naruto i don't usually watch it but for two weeks now its time slot has been covered with movies does any body know

They've been showing the filler arcs after the canon Rescue Sasuke arc (which is where the manga ends for that time period). Cartoon Network had gone through the Star Village arc, return of Mizuki arc, and now on the "find the scent beetle" arc.

Yup.

They're probably doing the movies to promote the new movies coming out in theatres. (Hellboy and TDK) Next week, they're showing Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, which is one of my favorite animated Batman films.

Doesn't cartoon network always show movies in the summer in place of some of it's shows?

I.e. the summer holidays is always filled with movies and other shows and it doesn't stick to it's usual schedule.

That's the way it used to be.

But, that's over here in england and i have NEVER seen naruto on cartoon network before, it's on jetix, but it never gets past the tsunade arc, or rather, it get's up to a certain bit, then just starts from the chunin exams again lol.

I don't watch it, but when i'm bored at 10-11 at night and i'm not out, i some times stick it on as back ground noise instead of music lol.

It's still on here in America, it's just showing movies to promote the new ones coming out, like AnimeFan said.

Its a summer line up. Almost like an intervention for the network. The only new shows Cartoon network airs right now it, Chowder, Total drama island, Tom and Jerry Flapjack, George of the jungle and Johnny Test, then you have the feature movie between 8-10 followed by adult swim. Regular programing should continue early september with some new line ups added to the mix. Shippuden will more than likely be introduced with the fall line up.

I doubt Shippuden will be aired in the fall. They'll probably air Shippuden next year.

My bad. They are airing Naruto next week, along with the second movie.

The schedule is going to look like this:

5.5 - Return of the Joker
7.0 - Naruto Movie 2
9.0 - Naruto
9.5 - Naruto
10.0 - Ben 10 Alien Force
10.5 - Samurai Jack

Tbh, I didn't really like the second movie.

The Ninja Clash in The Land Of Snow is the 2nd movie? They're airing that movie, my sister wants to see it.
I think they're just doing this for summer, CN always screws up their schedule during the summer, it'll be back to normal soon.
