My Mood: Rep Power: 37 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | NarutoMania Exposed newsletter Konoha Mura report collection ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I suggested this in Current Events -thead. And since no one said "what is the faggotry in my KM" or said this is really one helluva bad idea I am making this ^^;; What I was thinking was that the first post has an 'index' of all the reports. And then every report is posted in the order they were published in NL. So Satandra makes two posts and posts those 2 reports she had done. Then Sasuke's Legacy will posts those two reports he has done in the next two posts. And because other reports are done by many we can discuss who will post them. (Why I want other than me to post them is simply to give credits where they belong to ^^) Also if you have ideas for the Konoha Mura report, please speak up and don't be coy. Rep Power: 33 ![]() ![]() | Issue 1 - October 2007 Title: An Introduction to Konoha Mura Word count: 481 Summary: Introduction and history of KM Writer(s): Satandra An Introduction To Konoha Mura I still remember how it all began for me. I was asked to join posting in a thread on NM, named ‘Konoha Mura’ and located in the Lounge, where the most.. exceptional.. and useless of topics were discussed. They needed a female evil character and I doubtfully decided to give it a go. Right now, I can’t even tell what’s going on in the Lounge anymore. Konoha Mura has gotten me addicted, addicted to a degree I don’t leave the section for it anymore. That’s right, section. What once began as a small chain of posts made by a couple of devoted members, now grew out to have its very own section. Granted, it took a whole lot of mod-spamming to achieve that goal, but it’s there and that’s what matters now. It ended up having me writing these good old memories for the NM Newspaper, so I’d better get to the point, then. For the ones among us who are wondering what the heck Konoha Mura is: a forum RPG, based on the Naruto manga/anime series. It means people create characters by writing about them in all kinds of situations everyone thinks up for themselves. Might sound as a mess, but due to the smooth organisation (provided mainly by GeninNaruto, Jounin-Kakashi and Martzu at the moment) it’s all working out well. Lately there’s been a lot of activity on improving the section. As the players already noticed, several threads were updated, such as the Sign-up, the Clan/Bloodline Info and the Character Picture thread. We also created new environments for the players to RP in. Where first one could only pick between areas in the Hidden Village of Leaf itself (such as the Shinobi Academy or the regular Year Skip thread), we now have the other four villages of the Five Great Shinobi countries present. The Hidden Village of Rock, Sand and Cloud are there for everyone to work in and the Mist is in the making. Konoha Mura is still growing after the two full years of its existence and doesn’t seem to be dying out any time soon. Yes, I can even announce there’s a year skip coming for all of our beloved little fictive children. After researching with a poll it was decided that on the 29th of September, we will start RPing as if it’s two years later in the lives of the characters. It’ll be quite the shift to adjust to and it also requires updating of a whole lot of character profiles, but eventually it shall be worth the while. I’m looking forward already to see everyone’s growth. This was it for an update on the major events – other then this, all I have to tell the readers is to come take a look at our little section some time and see if you have what it takes to become Konoha Mura’s next top RPer. ~ Satandra

Rep Power: 33 ![]() ![]() | Title: The start of the interviews Word count: 918 Summary: Interview of GeninNaruto Writer(s): Satandra The start of the interviews Like announced in the previous article, a two year skip has taken place this month. The lives of our characters in Konoha Mura were fast-forwarded, no, skipped even, for two whole years. Today I stalk GeninNaruto, the one who isn’t an official moderator, but surely has the status of being our beloved ‘leader’. Facts are that this sole man has thought up quite some ways to bring better structure to our RPG and keeps everything in check while he’s at it. What makes him and his fellow old-timers of KM come up with a year skip? What does he think about having responsibilities in KM? And just what is his favourite food? It’s all for us to find out in the brand new interview sessions I shall be holding as of today. After making sure we have the right surroundings (a comfortably coloured, enlarged Windows Live Messenger screen) and a good vibe in the air (provided mainly by my threats to molest him if he refuses to work along), we start off with the most basic of questions. How did he get to Konoha Mura in the first place? “As far as I can remember I was just browsing the forum.” is the initial reply. “Before I came to KM I hardly ever posted on NM. I just used it to download Naruto episodes from. At one of those rare moments I did go to the forum I stumbled into KM. The thread had just been made as well since back in those days it was a very small RPG. I originally signed up just to see how it would go and for a little bit of fun during school time but I got more into it as time passed.” The same went for the others posting, but there still came a period where almost no-one posted anymore. How did the RPG live through that? “Well, there has always been a core group of members in the RPG. We just decided to keep it alive and continued with our storyline. In the end I guess it paid off since tons of new members came in and it has gotten quite lively ever since then.” This soon grew out to the part where we got our own section. Needless to say this brought along quite some work. New threads had to be made and stickied, but them just being there doesn’t mean it ends. In fact, most of us have a daily task when it comes to keeping everything in check. What does he thinks of the work KM gives him? Better asked – what exactly does he do every day when it comes to the RPG? “I really do enjoy the work KM gives me, although it’s a bit much at times since I’m indeed the one in charge of it in general. I don’t have to do work on it every day though, at least not anymore. I do all around stuff in the RP. I approve sign up’s, set up threads, work on the general storylines and just look after things.” And of course, the best thing of an RPG such as Konoha Mura is the fact you get to do it all together. After all, writing a story with your character is done with other players. Let’s dig a bit further into GN’s private life and ask who his favourite writing buddies are. “Anyone in KM knows. Satandra and Jounin-Kakashi. I’ve known Satandra for 2 years now or something and she’s my KM buddy. A good friend out of the RP is Jounin-Kakashi, we go way back. He’s like my best interracial buddy.” As an honest reporter I must admit I knew this already, but hey, the public didn’t! So for the record, too – who (of over the hundred he created in these two years) is his favourite character? “Hmm… It’s hard to pick for me but there are two that I’m especially fond of. Tarumi Natsuo is the first one, he’s been my main character for the majority of the time I have been in KM and even though I developed him from a bratty 12 year old Genin into one of Konoha’s strongest Hokage’s, I still have a lot of stuff to do with him. The second one is my recently started Genin, Kajou Kazuki, who is my new main character. I’ve just spend a lot of time thinking on how I would want him to be and I got him down to being a pretty perfect character for me so I enjoy playing him tremendously.” As I steer the conversation back into the formal area again, I ask if he has any big plans for the future in store for us. The answer is, probably to the delight of most members already – yes. “Yeah, although the big events will be held off for quite some time. With the new generation of Genins there’s going to be a Chuunin exam and there’s still tons of stuff regarding the current war coming up.” I thank GeninNaruto for letting me interview him, since a cliff-hanger is always a nice way to end an article. Even two years into this game, be it in real life or for the characters, we still have enough stories and events ahead of us. This prospect should function as an update to both in- and outsiders, should it not? Everything is still going well in our little joint. And, to the ones who were still wondering – GeninNaruto’s favourite dish is spaghetti. ~ Satandra

The cold tension’s intensity sweeps across the most innocent of lands, rolling with the hills and valleys like the shadow of night. Yet dark is what brings out the light, at least for the biggest direct threat lurking in the gloom. Full out confrontation is nearly always dreaded, but the leaders of the united villages are drowning in their own sweat; spawned from the power sitting at ease and ready to pounce. The calm is almost unbearable, so when inevitable battle erupts, many are almost relieved to see the apprehension leave their systems to be replaced by the malice of warfare. Only one man could cause such a mysterious and frightening threat, the evil genius mind of Kaibawa Nekura. The 60-year-old man leads an organization called Heruten, symbolizing the head of a gigantic snake that all fear for its reared fangs. This organization has resources to rival that of the great alliance, taking and uniting the smaller countries to create a vast army of tremendous power. Now Nekura has the strength to combat the likes of the shinobi villages opposing him, charging into a struggle of power alongside his four formidable subordinates, all wielding remarkable skill and artificial demons. But before the real situation can be fully comprehended, one must take a dive into the past to realize the shudder running down each Kage’s spine. Around ten years ago, a notorious missing-nin known as Kaibawa Nekura recruited elite fighters to join his cause. Their intensions have always been unclear, and their first large action was the beginning to the many feelings of suspicion that draped onto many souls. A revived union known as Akatsuki had declared full out war with the fire country, seeking to control the world after taking command of the lightning and wind nations. Heruten interrupted the plan with the debut of their infamous leader Nekura who single handedly managed to eradicate a few of the Akatsuki members, sabotaging their rival’s plan. After a while, Nekura decided that his organization needed a different posture, recruiting what was known as ‘The Big Five’, which included many large names feared throughout the lands as individuals. These four additional shinobi were extremely dangerous and harbored nearly unmatchable strength, so it was no surprise that their unity shook the great nations to their very core. Yet the fearsome team was unable to use their newfound power on a large scale, with the disaster of betrayal and death that plagued Heruten’s elite group. Two more members were needed to complete the choice squad again, and were quickly drawn together. Now with a full team, Nekura was ready to pool such power alongside the many smaller countries and villages that went to his aid. These realms were used as resources to build an army of vast magnitude, giving Kaibawa the ability to finally set his plans in motion. Nekura had coaxed, bribed, threatened, or brainwashed many lands to aid his cause and was now ready for war. Not long after they initiated an assault on the biggest direct threat that stood in their way: Konohagakure. It was a long, bloody siege but eventually the hidden leaf shinobi prevailed. Heruten retreated, hardly scratched but beaten nonetheless. These events lead to the current stale mate that put each person who was even remotely aware of the globe on edge. Yet another cold war had started, as if two great dragons were sitting and waiting for the other to move, patiently lingering until the moment they could release all hell. But there was a key difference in the arms race; the initiative would belong to the alliance instead of Heruten. Forces from the villages of cloud, mist, rock, leaf, and sand all secretly pooled for a surprise invasion on the newly found base of Heruten. The end of this bloody war of apprehension and strategy seems to be eminent, but the tables have turned. The alliance is now standing at the doorstep of an unsuspecting adversary caught on its heels yet still eager to fight. A climatic battle is definitely assured with the presence of all five kages accompanied by some of the fiercest names to ever be written on stone or parchment. Legends have come to resolve the conflict and only the strongest will stand along the rocky mountainside of the Heruten turf. One of history’s most bloodied chapters will be written beside the many pages of fallen heroes and tragedies, illumination and victory. Kaibawa Nekura and his snake known as Heruten pit itself against the brittle hide of a daunting tiger, lead by the five great Kages of the shinobi world. |

Peace. The war with Heruten is over at last, after at least three of the Big Five who lead their organization were killed in battle, and one of them being the leader Nekura himself. With the invasion of the enemy a success, there is finally room for the allied nations to breath, the biggest threat of terror now a wisp in the air. And with this recent peace, the leaders of all shinobi villages have finally found it time to host a legendary event that shaped the entire image of their countries. Now with the gossip of the war gone, there is even more tension and hype this year than nearly ever before, and only the chuunin exams can cause such a ruckus. Yes, the chuunin exams, where genins from all crooks of the globe meet to test their strength in order to be promoted. To help our readers understand more about this renowned occasion, we’ll dive into the rumors and facts that surround such a blood-heating competition. As long as the villages of shinobi and their legacies existed, there was always something similar to the chuunin exams hovering around the air every year. There was always a need for rank advancement, and the best way to spot the most supreme operatives was to hold a competition. What also makes the exams so exciting and famous is the hard reality that the exams test nearly all levels and areas a shinobi needs mercilessly. This means that even the strongest fighters may not pass, since it covers many different regions of expertise. And with that said, it’s logical to think that only the most well rounded genins are able to pass unless they receive help. To enter, all genin must have mission and battle experience, plus a unit of other genins to function with. There are traditionally three stages to this contest. The first stage is nearly always a test of intelligence in a very unusual fashion. Only the slyest of ninja can catch onto the trick, proving their fast wits, which distinguishes them amongst the rest. Most of the time this intellect pulls the entire team through to the next round, but not always. Another set back is that this is a team effort for the most part, meaning that if one fails, the entire squad fails. There are no second chances, and only the next year’s tournament can give them comfort. The second stage is the survival stage, testing the durability and composure of the entire team as a whole. There is an obvious objective, but only a few will actually complete the task, and the rest will be eliminated. Not much is known about this part to the public, since it is usually not a publicly viewed part of the chuunin exams. As for the final stage, a single elimination tournament sets the line. Teams and single shinobi will fight to stay in the tournament, but the winners are not always chosen to become chuunins. The ones with the most all around skill are picked, which means they must be hardened in many parts of their occupation. But there is a reason why this year’s exams are especially amazing. The contestants are simply extraordinary at such young ages. Countries from all around are groping to see their future enemies or allies compete, to see what they can expect. Only two shine internationally as astounding prospects, but that’s more than enough to attract thousands of people to Konoha for the exams. The first is Aizaru, Akito. The boy of twelve with only one year of experience under his belt has nearly all the fans drooling with his good looks, calm style, and unfathomable skill. As a student in the academy, Akito scored the highest grades the academy had ever recorded in its entire existence, meaning he beat others like Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Itachi, all prodigies at that age. Akito also completed a highly ranked mission with his team, something impossible to such inexperienced ninja. His rate of growth is incredible, also accompanied by the fact his clan wields another notorious eye ability. The other legend is Kouhaku, Mushra. This boy is from the Village Hidden in the Clouds, unlike Akito who is from the Leaf, and is of equal stature. Nothing is really known about him. But rumors vary all the way from saying Mushra has completed extremely high-leveled missions without being scathed, to Mushra being so strong that he had the will power to eat only half a jelly donut. These two prodigies are the main spectacles this year, but other worthy opponents prowl behind the curtains waiting for their chance. The tournament’s hype will soon be tested! |

Writer(s): GeninNaruto, Jounin-Kakashi, Naruto667 & Martzu Behind the scenes of chuunin exams Group of men spends time in one of the rooms in Administration Building. They are Konohagakure's Hiryuu Kougane, Hatake Kashi, Tarumi Natsu, Tarumi Hataye, Hitoha Tadimaru and Kumogakure's Hizashi Raiu. Let's hear them out... “Haah…. It’s boring without my Genins…” One off the many Jounins in the Administration building spoke up breaking the comfortable silence off the waiting group. The Genins currently partaking in the second exam had still 2 days to go till the end. The Jounins however had to be on stand-by in case a situation arose. “How strange… The stone cold Hiryuu Kougane actually missing his Genins? What happened to the little prodigy who only cared about himself?” Tarumi Natsu laughed observing the fellow Jounin, the brown haired shinobi shrugged slightly, his arms swung nonchalantly over the back off the couch. “It’s youth Natsu!!” “It’s not youth dad…” Tarumi Natsu and Tarumi Hataye, father and son had both applied their teams for the exams. "..." the old grey haired Hitoha just sat there waiting for something to happen before he started to think of what was going to happen to his team. Team which had never worked together until just now. "I really do hope they work together and not mess up...." Tadimura said to himself as he was leaning against a free wall and looked around the room."And I really do hope Ken doesn't prank anybody." ".... I'm actually happy.... I got a few days off from them, plus in their first year I can consider them good enough to partake in the exam... Though I worry how they will do...." Kashi nodded, luckily Akito was with them. He could lead them quite well, Kazuki could fight. But Kashi wondered if he had put enough time in Tokiko, because well, if she would fail, he'd feel a tad guilty because he might not have invested enough time into her. "But I'm sure they'll reach the next round...." He was at least sure of that much. “That’s right!! Kashi-san, have faith in your Genin!!” Hataye cheered wrapping his arm around Kashi’s neck. His fist clenching, muscles flexing proudly like he would always do when exited about the smallest things. The senior Jounin spoke up again. “I don’t worry about my team. They’ve got the motivation, the skills and the youth!!” “Hmmh….” The orange eyes off the lazy Hiryuu opened again when his hand rose up waving in front off his face. The man next to him on the couch had lit a cigarette. His eyes half shut while he blew out some smoke. The only Kumogakure Jounin at the exams, Haizu Raiu. He had settled in the Administration building as well. He had no worries about his team, Mushra was with them after all. “Just hope none off your Genin encounter my team. It would be a bloody mess” Chuckling the man stood up, he had been crowded by these Konoha folk far to long now. The Kumogakure Jounin shifted his fingers in a seal, the smoke off his cigarette expanding around him masking his disappearance. “No matter how we allied the other village’s. There’s still some jackasses amongst the lines aye?” Natsu sighed shaking his head, his hands resting in his lap when he glanced over at the window. His Genins would do fine, Ryou was a smartass albeit lazy. Verielle was experienced, precise, reliable and Kinomi was physically probably one off the strongest partakers in the exam. “I worry. I worry Yuna kills Nobutada, I worry Leena will kill Nobutada. Nobutada… He’s definitely going to get hurt one way or another by either one off his team members…” Kougane spoke up finally. Yeah, Nobutada was a royal yet strong pain in the ass.

My Mood: Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() | Issue 10 - July 2008 Word count: 449Takeo was last one to read the scroll. After reading it he placed the scroll to the table very carefully. Like if he placed it too hard all hell would brake loose. His violet eyes was now filled with seriousness. News enclosed to the scroll were alarm they wished to avoid to the last. "War, we are heading to another war for sure now." he murmured softly as he leaned back at his chair wondering the full meaning of this report. Man next to him nodded. Every one in the council room was hoping this was false alarm, but they all knew better. "They have taken the Sanbi and the Nibi already, so it’s obvious what and who are they after this time as well.” oldest member of the spoke out what was on everyone's mind. ”We also have to consider the possibility they are also after that ex-member of Heruten.” scar faced man spitted out ”And that artificial bijuu of hers.” his voice told everyone more than clearly what he thought of having member of a criminal organization walking freely on their streets. ”She-Devil.” he added to make sure everyone did got it. ”I so hope we can protected all the others and Konohagakure citizens as well. Keeping casualties to minimum is one of our main targets." one of the councillors quickly added to keep the meeting on right track. ”Just two years ago Konoha had been under attack of Heruten. We paid back by taking them down. Three of them is confirmed to be dead, one missing and last one is inside Konohagakure’s wall under our protection.” he gave the scarface glare to keep him quiet ”Now Tatsudoshi is trying their luck against us. They have done it before and will try it in the future too if given a chance.” ”What is the reason behind collecting bijuus?” ”That is something our shinobis have not found out. But what we do know for sure is they have interest towards bijuus.” Very unhealthy interest if someone wanted his opinion about it, but he kept his mouth shut. "Lets just hope, if they do come... They take away that accursed Hachibi-kid... He has caused enough trouble as it is!" One of the senior council-members spoke, as he had not forgotten the Hachibi-attack. "Perhaps we should consider to stop giving every Jinchuuriki, that comes by, a place to stay. Each one of them is a reason why Tatsudoshi targets us the most." Another woman at the table spoke up. All 9 of those beings only attracted trouble. They did so since the Shodai Hokage had build the village. Takeo went to the door. Informing the Juuichidaime Hokage was his duty.

He opened the scroll falling into deep thoughts. Then we have Hatake Kashi’s team. That man has some weird reputation. His marriage is beyond strange. How could big strong man like Kashi be afraid of that sweet little woman he had married. But such was life, opposite attracts? His students are also very interesting Aizaru Akito, Kajou Kazuki and Yutaka Tokiko. Aka genius, Jinchuuriki and the spoiled rotten rich brat. Hizashi Raiu’s team is not bad. Not bad at all. Mushra-kun is so strong, he is not human anymore. Not that rest of his team are weaklings either. With Kouhaku Lilan and Teishuu they make very noticeable team. And every single one of them is on last round. I never thought to see that Nara-squirt to get this far. And now he is in finals. Not to mention his opponent is Lilan. Very interesting match to come. Once again placed to fight against girl. As a typical Nara, hating it a lot I presume. Hating or not, he is facing Yamanaka Yuna. So that fight is must to see. Then Ametsu Kinomi, one little surprise here. She is not exactly someone I would have betted to be on last round. But here she is. She is determined, have to give her that. Last but not least on that team is little femme fatale, Kontou Verielle. Now she is something else. So elegant, ladylike, young and beautifully deadly. She compensates her lack of sight in so many ways. That earlier fight on arena was pure bliss to watch. Tarumi Natsu has done well with his students. No one expected them to do this well. But then again, he was Tarumi after all. What we all will be waiting for is the match between godlike Aizaru and Mushra. Aizaru’s reputation is considerable when you think of his age and experience.
