ok since i haven't watched this animu in a long ass time i'm just going to ask... is this still on fillers? if not then when did they end?

Wow I really really enjoyed this episode!! the way they set it out and how they balanced everything in terms of flow, amazing! The addition(s?) to the soundtrack were awesome the new sad music sounds really moving. Compared to the manga Naruto's training is getting more balance in the story and it's really making for a nice pace imo. The next one looks good and the training seems to be progressing well. I'm so glad Pierrot changed the way they do things, btw guys trust me the pace will pick up during the latter part of this arc and boy will it be great =D Shippuden has finally begun as far as I'm concerned.

Loved the sakura bit it was really touching tbh. The little segment at the end was kool too hehe. Oh and there's going to be a new OP at the end of the month so not long for these Hidan and Kakuzu segment to run.

Come on, isn't this gettin' a little ridicualous? It's like the build up is taking soooo long. The build up's have build up's. Yeah, the ep was kewl, but really, when are they gonna progress with the new jitsu? Or when are they are gonna atleast give a lil' more time on the supporting cast?

The episode itself wasn't bad but Shippuuden has to find other ways of consuming time rather then 10 seconds of grunting or 5 seconds of walking without any talking.

I though it was a little slow but from what people have been saying I would have to agree that it is needed. On that note it was a good ep I just can't wait for some more action

It's just a pointer/reminder episode imo
How he has Sasuke drive, how they have grown up and get along...etc it's all there.
However this is getting to some INSANE action soon!!

just thought I'd share something with people, it might be a 'subtle' hint by the anime as to where Naruto is heading in terms of romance....

Oh, goddamit... Watched the raw for the next episode. They actually used one of their best animation teams on a dull episode...

Also, prepare for filler stuff (Lots of it), though it's nothing bad. I only skimmed through it, but what I saw was fine.

Oh, and HIDAN WAS DRAWN WELL THIS TIME OMG!!!

The episode was hilarious. The ending was great. They made the same joke manga readers made back when this arc was in the manga. The directing and music have seriously improved. I actually rewatch shippuden episodes now.

And there is a special in 2 weeks. A whole hour of pure win!

Half an hour of win, half an hour of sucky animation. The directors for Naruto and Pierrot were obviously drunk when they planned these couple of next episodes. Okay, as I've seen from the raw, this episode is mostly filler... Yet, for some very retarded reason, they used one of their best animation teams on it. The special, however, gets only one half animated by a fairly good team, while the other half is animated by one of their worst ones, team 4.

They should have switched it so team 4 did this, while team 1 does work in the special.

Also, they skipped that scene, completely changed that other scene, and the episode only covers 15 fuckin' pages or so. Waste of a good team... Though it's still good due to team 1 being the animators, some decent music for once, and then there was that goddamn awesome filler scene...
