Typical American . Soccer is THA SHITTT!! This game is gonna go down in history as the best soccer game ever. Just looking at it makes me almost wanna come. It alone gives me a reason to buy a PS3 (something even FF couldn't do). Pro Evo replay value unlimited/unlimited, FF replay value 8/10 max.
Shooters also have a good replay value, but none come close to PROOO EVOOOOOO!

Edit: Besides, you're black dude. I've never heard of a black American getting exited over a soccer game in my entire life.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm not a Shooter freak. I'm just saying it has more replay value than FF.
I like FF better obviously, but I won't play it more than 80 hours. Once I beat the game once or twice, I usually don't touch it again. Which can't be said about Shooters and Soccer games.
Seriously Pro Evo (not Fifa, Fifa sucks) is one of the few games that can get me really exited about. FF had that 2 one time. FFXIII compilation is looking good though and I'm having high hopes for it.

I was just joking....any sports game has more replay value than an RPG but that's if you can stand the repetitivness of playing the game over and over. I was playing NBA Live 07 till the wheels fell off and now I hardly touch the game.

I still play Pro Evo 6. It's the only game I'm currently playing on my modded ps2 (I download pretty much everything that comes out from RPG's to fighters). Pro Evo is the only game I keep on playing and playing. It's an endless circle I tell you.

Boy does this thing look good. I mean, on pics it looked huge and not so appealing visually but, once you have the real thing...yeah, Sony knows what design is about. Some real nice shapes on it. Still a tad too big though.

Well, now I have it and a Wii (bought this one first cause of the low price and Zelda), lol new generation XP (X-BOX360 can suck my shiny metal ass).

Trurh is, I only bought Tony Hawk 8 for now, and I haven't even played it yet as I bought many Blu-ray movies: Casino Royale in HD? Good times!

Anyway, any advice on what games to buy and all?

You're better of waiting for better games to come out then waste your money on the crappy games that are out right now.
Lair looks pretty funny, Oblivion just sucks IMO.

You know something I don't understand. The Xbox got 0 support in Japan...so why is the 360 starting to get love in Japan? They've got like...2 good JRPG games out/comming for it. What happened? Who are the Moon people actually making these games for? All of the 5 Xbox 360's in Japan?

It's official! The PS3 price has been cut!

Truth: Retailer Confirms $100 PS3 Price Cut - Kotaku

Following up on the report that the PLAYSTATION 3 would see a $100 price cut taking place the week after E3 2007, GameDaily has confirmed with "a merchandising manager at one of the world's biggest retailers" that the 60 GB version of the PS3 will indeed drop to $499, starting on July 12, one day after Sony's E3 press conference. GameDaily also reports that the new price is indeed indicative a retail-wide price drop, not a Circuit City specific sale, as a handful of speculators have posited.

It seems too soon for a price drop. The system has only been on the market for only 7 months. I expected Sony to cut the price around holiday season. It's still a good thing so shouldn't matter if it came this soon.

SE wants to turn this into a big franchise like FF. Lets see if they'll succeed in that. Game looks great, but I want to see more of the battle system.
Great thing is that it's coming out in NA/JP simultaneously.

Now that looks good. Anything Square puts out is always quality...even if it is for the suXbox.....this might be the reason I get a 360....that and if they fucking fix them where they don't fucking break down all the time.

Just to add a little more fuel to the price-drop speculation, here's a Joystiq article with an actual picture of the Circuit City advertisment in it showing the PS3 at $499...

An "employee of Circuit City" dropped this clip in our tip box about an alleged sale for the PlayStation 3. The flyer shows that Circuit City is dropping the price of the PS3 by $100 for the week of July 15. We contacted Sony to ask how they felt about the price drop and they told us, "Circuit City hasn't announced any price drop on PS3, so we have no comment." To be clear, despite the collective game consciousness' longing for a PS3 price drop and its possible announcement at next week's Min-E3 ... this is merely a clip of an alleged flyer which shows a week long sale at Circuit City for the PlayStation 3.

Sony Corp. announced a revised PlayStation 3 console Monday with a
bigger hard drive for storing downloaded content such as video games
and high-definition movies.

The new $599 PS3 increases the system's storage capacity from 60 to 80
gigabytes and also includes a retail copy of the online racing title
``MotorStorm,'' a company spokesman said.

Starting Monday, the current 60 gigabyte model will cost $499 _ a $100
price drop.

The larger capacity machine won't be available in the United States
and Canada until August.

It plays into the company's upcoming strategy of eventually offering
downloaded high-definition movies, video games, movie trailers and
demos, Sony spokesman David Karraker said.

Karraker said further details on high-def movies for download would be
released at a later date.

The announcement comes two days before the E3 Media & Business Summit
in Santa Monica, Calif., where dozens of industry heavyweights
including Sony rivals Microsoft Corp. and Nintendo Co. are expected to
show off their latest games and related products.

In April, Microsoft began selling a version of its Xbox 360 with a
120-gigabyte hard drive and a souped up high-definition video
connection. Called Xbox 360 Elite, the black-colored system sells for
$479.99.

Xbox gamers who already own the $399.99 20-gigabyte model can buy a
snap-on 120-gigabyte hard drive for $179.99.

Karraker said Sony would use the E3 show to focus on two areas: ways
to increase the number of consumers who own PS3s and other products
such as the PlayStation Portable handheld system, and expanding the
system's library of available games.

He said Sony would be releasing 100 new video games during the current
fiscal year, including 15 titles that are exclusive to the PS3 such as
the hack-and-slash action title ``Heavenly Sword.''
