My daughter wants one of these so bad... but she knows she's gonna have to wait (took me over a year to get a PS2 for her.)

The only thing I can afford to get her this year is a game... and she's already made it quite clear she wants FFXII... so... PS3 will have to wait... maybe like others have said... when all the bugs are fixed... and the price is lowered... SIGNIFICANTLY...

the main reason y i want a ps3, is for these three reasons

1) Blue Ray dvd player (too expensive yu buy it at stores..about $900+)
2) Wireless internet on your Big Screen Tv.. thats pretty crazy
3) Final Fantasy Versus XIII

serioulsy main reason is cuz i dont wanna get up and run to the other room to see wahts on.. and then run back to go back on the computer.. in my tv im able to view channelz at once.. so theres my advantage

I don't really want a PS3 now but I really want to play Resistance Fall of Man. The whole concept of the game looks amazing and the whole Nazi/Allied is going to be interesting to play with. The guns look cool, too.

Unless you have screenshot comparisions and system specs to support this claim I'm calling bullshit on this

ive seen dreamcast graphics.. and ive seen ps2'z Kingdom Hearts graphics... really.. i think there is a HUGE DIIFFERENCE in it.. lol

It seems everyone nowadays judges games by how its good graphics are. same for game system specs if they say it has more polygons its "better" x.x Like the japanese guy of nintendo said:

9. Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (hopefully)

Graphics are important but I'm more of a gameplay/story person. Hopefully with the 360 as a competitor platform capable of great graphics too, awesome graphics will become a norm and developers for the PS3 will start working on other aspects to promote the sale of thier games. I won't be holding my breath though. =\

I second that list, but also don't forget that hopefully the PS3 will intruduce us all to a all new kick ass series with a unique genre.

I never thought much when I played DMC 1 back then and only loved Metal Gear series and GTA but after playing it, I was in love. Hope they bring in more new series of gaming.
