nope, you downgrade when you are using the official firmware and you want to put custom firmware on it, you downgrade and then you install.

If you already have custom firmware, albeith old, you already have the most troublesome thing out of the way. Now, what you want to do is to find out which firmware you have so you can update to the latest one

To do this, turn on your psp, go to options(all the way to the left, below the switch to usb mode thing) and then the system options, there you will see your firmware version, note it down and tell us what it is

HtS5 is out now. They all feel the same to me, just more characters added with each version.

Heat The Soul 5 is actually alot more fun. Tags make shit more fun....feels like MvC plus they got Neriel in it. Win.

It's a slight improvment from HtS4 for me. The main thing I like is that the AI is actually a bit of a challenge this time. I'm really hoping Neliel doesn't sound like that in the anime.

Oh yea, the save file only works on 3.90 firmware for some reason. You can unlock her by getting 50000 points in tag master.
