There is. You just need to find people crazy enough to do it. There are translators that do menu patches and other in-game menu stuff. A fully translated JP game is very unlikely though. I mean people from talescless have been busy with Tales of Destiny 2 for ages now. Although, some dude did fully translate and patch Samurai Spirits RPG (psx).

Not sure if I should get this, since I've barely touched anything Gundam Battle related, let alone anything UC Gundam related.

Loading it on the PSP right now....will give first impressions later.

EDIT: So far so good. I'm at the character making screen which is I guess the main story campaign. You get to make your own character, partner and operator. You can choose whether they're a Newtype or Normal with Zaft or the Earth Fed. After that I'm taken to the Generation select screen where I can pick which I wanna play. So far you can choose from. Stardust Memory, Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam and some other Gundam series I can't identify. So far I'm doing the tutorial missions. So far it plays just like the other Gundam PSP game. I'll write back later after I actually do some missions. I decided to fuck the tutorials and actually get in some action. So far it plays like the rest. Triangle is Melee, Circle is the main weapon. R is lockon L is block X is thrust...only thing I'm not liking is there has GOT to be a way to play with the analog pad instead of these buttons. I know the Gundam I played with in the tutorial could do it but how do you do it with the rest of them? This game is'nt exactly English friendly. Plus you can also level up your weapons like the shields bazookas and all that jazz. Only thing so far is that I miss the Seed, Destiny and other super Gundams. This generation is ok...but it's a little bland....needs moar LAZER SPAM

Ok I'm finally going to buy a PSP, is it better to get a fat one or a slim one, keep in mind I'll probably install custom firmware and stuff.

Would it be good to get a fat psp with 1.5 firmware?

if you get one of those, then you can bypass the whole downgrading thing and go stright to upgrading to custom firmware. If you do get a slim one, i'm almost positive you have to get a pandora battery as well, in order to downgrade it,while the fat one does not need it(up to certain fimrware version,mind you)
