Is there a way to downgrade that doesn't involve the need of a Pandora? I've been looking around and I can't seem to find anything. Some websites say to downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade back up, but is there a way to downgrade from 5.00 back to 1.50 on a slim?

Can't I just stick a 3.71 M33 update in the update folder and run that? Or will it not allow an older update to be installed?

Don't think it works that way. Good thing I always wait till the FW gets into it's .5's before I start upgrading. Maybe they'll have a fix.

Apparently the corrupt save problem is due to the fact that I made the save on a firmware lower than what the game actually required.

So I've googled some more, this guide says I can make a jigkick and magic memory stick just using some CFW so I can downgrade to 1.5 then back to 3.71 m33-2. Anyone tried this before? Would it work on a PSP Slim?

Edit- I managed to figure it out, I'm back to 3.71 M33.

It wasn't homebrew that was corrupted, it was the save file that came up as corrupted in a few games. Basically I used a game on a firmware lower than it officially required.

The M33 firmware bypasses the firmware check for games running off ISOs.

Example, Lets say 'Game A' required firmware 4.50 and I had 3.71 installed, M33 still allows you to play it.

So when I updated the firmware to 5.00, the game saves were created on a lower firmware that what was officially supported. Thats why the the saves come up as corrupted.

This problem doesnt seem to occur if you make game saves on firmwares the game supports and then upgrade.

I saved my folders onto my computer before turning it into a MagicMS, then formatted it via PSP once I was done.

yo friends, I've got a question for you PSP savvy dudes:

I have a 4gb Mem Stick Pro Duo from a friend's camera which is loaded with pictures,my question is, can I in someway transfer those phtos to my pc via the psp? becuz my friend is away and I don't have the cable. When I toggle USB with that mem stick inserted it says it's empty. Remember that I can't format since I want the pics.

Only way I know how is to somehow get a cable and hook it up to the PC or do a PSP to PSP file transfer.

you mean a psp usb cable? I already got it

and I can't do the psp transfer since it doesn't detect the photos, my guess is that it needs to be formatted by the psp first, but I can't do that since the data will be lost

Hmmm are the files hidden somehow? Why don't you move the files to another folder to see if they show up or at least back the photos up so you can figure out how to open them later.

yah,thing is, the mem stick comes from a camera, and when I put it into the psp, it doesn't recognize it, so I can't see the pics in the psp, and I don't have the camera cable. The pics show up in the camera just fine, so it's not corrupted

Ohhhhh I think that might be the problem then. I did'nt understand you so when you meant you did'nt have the cable you meant the cable to the camera. Hmmmm only thing I can tell you is get that cable or does the camera have wi-fi transfer like mine does?

Seems like the Memstick is in a format different to what windows can understand. Only thing I can say is try a different computer. Or just find the cable for the Camera.

Fake MS? Did you check if it's Magic Gate Compatible

Try formating it to FAT16 instead of FAT32, so that it reads data blocks faster. Don't do it on an 8GB or higher, it's gonna be killed and it's unrecoverable.

I kind of lost what was happening when 2 Nu Gundams appeared and both launched the Axis meteoroid at me.

God Gundam is also quite fun to play.

ZZ Gundam sucks bad =\. Zeta is pretty cool.
