wow. you're friends an idiot. first of all, i have a samsung yp mp3 512 mb and it's awsome. so good choice for a mp3 you got there. anyways, as i was saying, your friend's an idiot. if you are gna watch video and put musics, you will need some money. you will need at least 1 gb memory which costs you $100 or $150. something like that. and anime, takes alot of space so it's relaly useless. i use my psp for games. so dun return your mp3. if you want to watch anime, watch it on your comp.

Im not opposed to buying a mem stick, cuz im weghing the choices between my samsung and a pap and the psp does look sweeter right now. It can play games, movies, music all i want but in a larger version which i dont mind., im not just watching animes im watching other stuff. exaclty how much of a 1 gig memory stick will 170mb video fill take up after the converting?

yep i got my psp! ive been fiddling with it for the past 3 hours and now i want to put music and stuff in my 1 gig memory stick....problem is my computer wont recognize this as a removable disk! whats the deal!? its windows XP and when i plugged it into my other computer it worked right away.

you are wrong... im getting my new 2x 1gb chips for 139 total

not only that but i own sites that provide media 4 the psp so the sizes arent big at all for high quality avc it is only around 80-90 mb the most.... AVC quality pwns regular mp4... then a 1 gb chip are cheap nowadays so u can find one for cheap like around 65 bucks then put around 11 or less episodes on the chip.

I just got a 4GB HDD attachment for $200 that also comes with a 3600MAH battery so using it for movies/music is actually not that bad.

You should have bougth a Ipod Video 30 GB for 300 $ (75 hours). I dont think a PSP is good for storage. 1gb is not that much. Maybe 2.5 hours on that machine :(

but to be honest, im also thinking of either a PSP or either a Ipod Video.

btw, 250 for the PSP + 70 for the 1 gig memory = +300

I can help you in one of two ways...I think. You can either use the PSP through a wireless connection to update your PSP or you can download the update onto your computer then transfer it over to your PSP. Let me know which one and I can try helping you out more.

lol, i was an idiot. it said i needed AC adapter and i was like "wtf? wtf is an AC adpater. that crap didn't come with my PSP!" but later i found our that the AC adapter was the charger x]. all i needed was to plug that in and press update

i never should have brought it. it sucks the stupid thing only has one analog stick the graphics are as great as a ps1. but the sound is great. the only good thing about it is the free internet of hot spots you might call them. Final score 2 out of 5. I don't reccomend you buying this.

your a dumbass.... the psp just came out... when the ps2 first came out the gfx were horrible, exactly the same as the psp when sony released it, they didnt give all the developer information to the gaming companies. Not only that but the analog was to keep the size of the psp. i dont want a psp being alot longer... or it would be gay. And your 2 out of 5 score is horrible... you prolly havent used all of the psp functions or something b/c the psp is awsome. your prolly a nintendo ds person but still the ds loses, even if it has more games its still not as good. the PSP has wifi to download anything directly to the psp without any problems does the DS do that? no i dont think so. since you said u shouldnt have bought the psp why dont u give it to someone that will appreciate the damn thing.

no and yes. current firmware ver of the psp does not support live streams. BUT we have had rumors that next update will allow that and that sony is working on it right now. But not only that to the aim qestion. u can use like e-messenger.net or webaim.com they work on the psp no problems but i like to use pspirc.com its faster. since the psp reloads the page to just send a msg so the irc one auto reloads while u type in letters etc.

once they get ALL types off homebrew working on a 2.0 psp, including things like the UMD Emulator, Devhook, and Fastloader, then i'll upgrade, i've still got a 1.5..

tauzins, you've got a 2.0 right? so the browser doesn't let you stream live videos yet, right?

I have upgrade 2.5 but I have not used any of the network functions as my router is not updated to receive the signal from my psp.

Has anyone else got GTA: LCS? The jump from ps2's gta 3 to this game is larger than the jumps that the xbox and pc users enjoy.
