Oh, I tried to S every mission. Some were harder than others, but I did manage it for the Wesker missions, and the Ada one (I just had to, but it took a while). Head shots...there is a nice sweet spot right near the top of the forehead. I don't think you can get critical hits anywhere else.

The guy playing isn't that good because he doesn't even bother shooting the environment, and wastes ammo where he should.

About RE5, I'm sure Wesker will make an appearance since he was only in a teaser in RE4. I doubt Ada will, that's probably a RE6 sort of deal since she goes hand in hand with Leon.

Does anyone know about the virus in this game? Sounds like the characters are different, I'm just wondering how badass they will be. I hope they aren't all Crimson like, I'd probably quit.

Like i said before, they could be victims of the Las Plagas parasites from RE4. Or it could be a new breed of the T-virus. But my best guess would be the Las Plagas since the enemies looked like they were able to communicate and use weapons.

Ye i tried S-ing all missions but it was tough on Normal mode. Especially the Raccoon City stages.

As for the virus of RE5, although im just speculating, they could be victims of the Las Plagas (the RE4 virus) since the enemies looked like they were able to communicate and use weapons. Or maybe a new breed of the T-virus.

Zombies were always the result of the virus, from day 1. I can't think of another alternative to explain the existence of zombies, unless you consider magic. But that's also a modern day plot.

I just like the old school zombies. The whole point of it being cool is that you didn't know why they came back to life and had to find out what happened. There should be more than a few reasons for why there are zombies than just 2/3 things. Make it interesting, be original.

^Zombies originating from some mystical dark power is just plain stupid and a very old and beaten-to-death idea. Viruses ftfw.

Everyone loves shooting zombies cause it's so addictive and fun. But come on, how many RE games out there already have zombies and having to go in a clunky bad controled character to survive? It get's old and it's time to use new types of enemies and as far as I know, these things from RE 5 are a different breed than the crazed los plagas villagers.

I like the idea and direction there going in 5 to keep it fresh and sure it will be similar to 4 but 4 is the only one of it's kind and making us wait for it on a next gen will make the game even fresher. The world of RE should be all about viruses and mutations and shit. Come on, it's name is Biohazard not zombie killing spree. As long as there's some messed up virus that makes fugly monsters to shoot at then it's all good.

I'm still hoping that capcom will have a sort of special edition for 5 to include the original RE even if it's from the PSX days or cube remake so people could know Chris Redfield better. (mind you, I like Chris over Leon cause of originality in the mansion incident but Leon is still second)

^The crazed villagers were called Ganados by the way, the Las Plagas was the parasite within them. But that aside, i also like where RE5 is going and it sure looks like it's going to be yet another astonishing RE release. Although i do disagree with one thing with wat u said *Sparda*, RE never gets old as far as zombies r concerned, as long as they keep adding side stories to the original ones then the RE sagas will always be more open to interpretation and therefore will always keep us RE fans amazed by their work, at least that's the way i see it as a RE enthusiast.

As for Chris and Leon, yes i totally agree, Chris is at a higher rank than Leon to me (mind u, i also like Leon a lot) considering that he's the original RE veteran dating all the way back in the mansion incident in July 1998. I especially love the history of RE, it actually dates back all the way to the early 60's of u check out the official RE website.

RE rules forever. CAPCOM....u made it all happen.

Inb4 someone says this game is racist. On a serious note this game just made no.1 on my list of games to get on the first day. Glad that they kept the same style from 4.

^It was a senator in the US gov't who claimed that it was racist. U can read the article on Gamespot.com, ppl made a mockery out of it, so did i because the senator's claims were baseless. I mean, nobody objected when Leon (a white man) was killing off Spanish ppl in RE4, why now has this become such an issue? Like i said, her points were baseless and NOBODY agreed with her, not even black ppl.
