Someone mentioned RE 5 will be released at the same time as MGS 4? Well even if that happend, I'd choose RE 5. Blasting monsters, zombies, or just bat shit crazy virus infected freaks are much more fun than playing hide and go seek with terroists (Like MGS but my love for RE is more)

Any word when the trailor comes out?

^Agreed, Resident Evil is the only video game series that I'm ALWAYS excited about whenever a release is about to be made. It's a genre PERFECT for my liking, amazing story and everything...proof is...it's still alive and making spectacular releases. CAPCOM ftw.

I'm also still checking for that new trailer, but nothing yet.

I thought Outbreak was stupid too. But main series games. Resident Evils 1-4 and Code Veronica were just awesome. I'm sure 5 wont dissapoint.

^Much truth there, Dead Aim was a dissapointment so was Gun Survivor and such since RE doesn't fit the FPS genre. Code Veronica was a very interesting game, considering that it was merely a side-story but it was quite indepth, I also liked Wesker more and more in that game coz it really showed all the evil that was in him and i admired him more for that. RE5 will be a thing to remember i can tell.

They definately went in a new direction with Wesker in Code Veronica. Making him all super ninjamode lol. His fights in Umbrella Chronicles were crazy. Prolly enough to make some people get sick lol.

I wanna find out what happened to Ozwell Spencer ( The only remaining founder of Umbrella ) after the fall of umbrella. I'm sure that he will eventually be an endboss of a future game. Possibly even 5. That would be pretty sweet. Hopefully Wesker will make an appearance and face off against his old pal Chris as well.

^Agreed, Wesker is one hell of a character. His superhuman powers were phenomenal, especially when his eyes turned red in Code Veronica.

If Ozwell E. Spencer makes an appearance, it will either be sometime in RE5 or sometime after that, perhaps in another side story, who knows. The suspense is killing me as a loyal RE enthusiast.

But as for Ozwell's whereabouts, he just disappeared after Umbrella's public fall, he's not dead as far as my knowledge goes.

EDIT: After watching that extended trailer, there was that chick that appeared in the end of the trailer. The one that was in that water tank...wonder who she could be.

Theres alot rumors circulating thats she Birkin's daughter from RE2, she was taken by Wesker's agent when Leon gave her to an "US Agent" who was secretly working for Wesker's people. Also I'm sure is pretty pissed that with Claire for not keeping her promising and leaving her alone. So she might exact her revenge on the Redfield's siblings. Besides in the timeline this take place 10 years after the Raccoon City incident, so Shirley would be 22. She would have plenty of time to be trained, experimented on, and become a total bad azz. Also Wesker always speculated that there was something special with Shirley Birkin. Also did you guys find an image about a girl who looks alot like Claire in one of the RE5 previews.

Has anyone been keepin up with the sherry birkin theories for this game ? Some of them are pretty badass... There is one I read in a game informer about how Sherry, being held by Wesker's organization for past few years (if you watched the bonus disc for Code Veronica, you know what I'm refering to), has been sampled with a new pregnator virus, hence her imunity and fail safe virus that her father injected her with when she was a child, Wesker himself has been brainwashing her to spite the redfield siblings for abandoning her, while putting her through training programs and simulations. So she appears in this game as an enemy, at 22 years old (according to the timeline). Thus explaining alll these shots of this blond headed girl in the trailer and teasers..

Who knows if it's true, but it would be badass..

I have that same GI issue and thats where I'm getting my ideas from.FYI I did watch that bonus disc from Code Veronica. Although I I did forget about Sherry until I read that issue of GI. There was once a time when I was RE4 when I thought to myself, where the heck is Sherry. Sorry for calling her Shirley forgot her name.

I know EXACTLY where u guys r going with this and the theory of Sherry making a potential appearance in this game, and i agree, in fact iv had this thought ever since i saw the 1st trailer of RE5.

Upon the completion of the game of Code Veronica X, i got all 4 vids of Wesker's Reports, and in the last 10secs of the last one Wesker mentions "There's something about this little girl." I remember it quite well. However, i dont think that woman that we saw screenshots of is Sherry, I remember Sherry was a blond and whatnot, maybe she dyed her hair, maybe. Though i do agree that Sherry could become the next Ada Wong considering that she was being held by Wesker's Umbrella Co.

I love where this is going.

Though iv always wondered, Chris Redfield never met Leon, nor did Jill ever meet Leon or Claire, iv always wanted a game where they all would coincidentally meet up and work together.

This might have been posted before here but on Resident Evil: Countdown there is some kind of countdown, no one knows what it is, I've looked at it carefully and not much happens... however at one point you see a man walk up to a house and then the camera angle changes... its deffinatly from RE 5 so I thought I'd let you all know
