@Kraker probably since all the other games also came out on the ps3 but you never know with SE. If gamersyde says so then it probably will.

WTF just read this on IGN: Further details on Star Ocean IV will have to wait. Coming exclusively to Xbox 360 spring 2009, Square-Enix is keeping a tight wrap on the game for the time being. IGN: Star Ocean: The Last Hope Preview. So does this mean the info from gamerside wasn't correct or is just exclusive for the x360 in the spring and will it come out later on the ps3?

Like Kraker I thought it was also going to be released on the ps3 according to gamersyde. What the fuck is happening man. First a tales game only for the x360 and now star ocean. WTF is microsoft doing to us!!

Who knows? I keep hearing it might be ported and it might not. Either way I'm not holding my breath and I'm NOT getting cheated out of a Star Ocean game so I'll have to get a 360 but it won't be until the new non RROD models go on sale in August.

Sadly I was never into the Star Ocean series because I never played it before. I just scratch my head at why a Japanese gaming company would make games for Microsoft that is largely based in America when their own country can't even sell them. So if they are looking into making money, they aren't making any of it from Japan. Common sense and they will realize it once it hurts them up the butt.

I dunno. Considering the reason for FF13 going multiplat was that Square is actually in debt why they would make this game EXCLUSIVELY for a system I have no idea. Not a very good buisiness plan and I frown on exclusivity except for on game that have a long history on a system. I believe that now that I've been playing FF on a PS system for 10 years now then I might as well keep playing it to keep up tradition just as Halo players also want to keep playing the Halo series on the 360.

Microsoft has to be pomping an insane large amount of money to SE to be able to get these exclusive rights. Or the people @playstation just pissed SE of, one of the 2.

I know its a good game but I am afraid I will get too addicted to it. My friend recommended me to play it before too but I just never got the chance to. But... HOLY CRAPZ! Star Ocean remakes 1 and 2 on the PSP!?! OMG!

the whole time I thought it was on the regular playstation so I didn't want to bother going that far back but since they remade it.. Going to play it now. Thanks for motivating me to play it, otherwise I wouldn't have looked it up.

The non RROD models have been out, since generation 5 when every 360 sold had a HDMI out port and contained the falcon chipset.

Japans 360 community is larger then you think, (though it doesn hold a candle to Sony or Nintendo's community there) There is a sizable market in japan for Xbox 360 players, I see quite a bit online from japan playing Rainbow six Vegas 2, Halo 3, among other games.

There are people in japan that own 360s, they enjoy them and like any gamer wants more games for them. They want a game to justify their purchase of the system just like you want more games to justify your purchase of the PS3.

I've read otherwise. Plus there has been no official statement from Microsoft that the RROD has been fixed and I've read that the RROD is still present in the new models. The new boards do nothing but lessen the chance of RROD but don't completely prevent it. Unless you can post official sauce from Microsoft stating otherwise~ Plus I would like to know how could I tell that I'm getting a new model instead of an old one? Is there some kinda serial code on the box that can tell you?
