Anime Recomendations Thread - Page 2

Zero911, I suggest Shuffle which has tons of Ecchi in it and its funny and evil at points, Susuka (Drama about highschool students with Echhi added in) and Okusama wa Joshikousei (17 year old and teacher married couple/tons of Ecchi and comedy). You can get info on these titles via google or the anime news network.

Here are some things I'd like to see in a show, tell me if you've seen any like this

1. main characters (good guys) be from a race of insectiod aliens that are fighting a total against the evil human race, preferably humans that pilot mechas and like J-pop.
2. A lot of nasty, bad ass characters going aroung slaughtering scores of bishonen, bishojo, and kawaii (God damn kawaii!) characters in every episode.
3. a good amount of black humor and cynicism
4. a decent amount of graphic violence and gore, I saw Elfen leid and thought it would be gory but I was dissapointed.

any suggestions?

MajorDBag, I would sugest you look up info on Evangelion, this may be just the right one for you. Its got a twisted plot with mecha fighting pilots against these strange creatures. I would also suggest Guyver since its got mecha versus aliens and a pretty good plot. Theres a new Guyver series out in Japan right now but few ppl who have subbed the series. Guyver Fansubs though has episode 1 up. You can check out the guyver thread for links and google to get more info.

Oh oh this thread is just for me!

very simple.
I want to watch a Anime that is similar to Bleach.
Fighting + alittle magic + a lil bit of humor.... I also wan the anime to be new, 2004 & after.. (i can't stand bad & old animatons :()

If there isn't, name me a anime that is close to what i wanted..

EDIT: I forgot.. I want the anime u recommend to be FAMOUS.

The closest thing I can think of is Blood+ right now but instead it's about a girl not a guy but it don't have any comedy to offer.

X TV maybe but it doesn't have any comedy.

Hehe, how about Naruto? xD But seriously, it might be old but you absolutely must watch Rurouni Kenshin if you havn't! =D

I would suggest Loveless but I doubt you're into shounen-ai.

So instead, try taking a look at: Tsubasa Chronicle, Fullmetal Alchemist, Scrapped Princess and GetBackers.

You're kidding....no seeders for Kenshin? I don't think that is even possible...check boxtorrents.com. There should be a torrent for this Kenshin

Oh and you should watch......Mushishi. It's actually new and quite interesting. But no action with only 6 episodes.
Also you should watch samurai champloo. It's great.

I'm looking for a good anime with a good amount of episodes that I can sink my teeth in. The animes I've watched before and liked are Bleach, Naruto, FMA, GITS, HunterXHunter, Samurai Champloo.
