I am so disgustingly excited about this anime it's kind of scary... not only because I've been reading the manga for a while, or that I have a total obsession with the Shinsengumi, but also because the voice cast is FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Plot summary: Plot Summary: Sakata Gintoki is a samurai living in an era when samurais are no longer needed. To add to his troubles, oppressive aliens have moved in to invade. Gintoki lives with Kagura and Shinpachi, taking on odd jobs to make the world a better place...and to pay their rent.

Of course. Less popular WJ fanart is usually very very good. I had to make a new folder purely for Gintama sites in my bookmarks because I faved too many XD Most of it is BL though :X

But surprisingly, I actually like Okita/Kagura. Even though my forever favourite historical OTP thing is Hijikata/Okita :X

I dont think so, sure I think it will have serious elements but mostly it's a SF comedy.

It looks alright. It doesn't look godly or anything. I guess I'll check out the first episode when the subs come out. I am worried about this one. It seems they are trying to combine comedy and seriousness, I hope they do it right.

Just watched the raws and OMFG, the VAs are so PERFECT

I am SO HAPPY.

It's different from the manga so far.... but I'm really, REALLY happy with the cast
