When it comes to food, the human body is quite resilient. In extreme circumstances your body could last for about 4 weeks on water alone. You're not gonna be in good shape, nor are you going to be able to do much, but you'll be somewhat alive.

But, your body can't last without water and you'll usually die after just a couple days.

I gain weight in ramadan actually, I am the type of person that eats very little very often barely sustaining myself lol, so when the time comes for me to break my fast I am extremely hungry and eat a bit too much. I wonder if my muslim brothers at the university pray somewhere.

U gotta be moderate, remember to wake up an hour b4 sunrise for big breakfast or u won't be functional at school. Man this year it comes on labor a day b4 the new semester.=[

I can confidently tell you that they, in fact, they don't pray at all. Religion is cultural. if they like that culture then why leave Muslim countries? traitors!

I don't see anyone pulling out rugs for that 3am Allah phone call.

But dammit. you Muslims eat way better than I do. I get a danish and some ramen noodles and then I am happy.

I usually don't eat anything, for days at a time.
But whenever it is a fast day, I'm starving.

lol conditions doesn't really matter as long as you have will power that can endure every obstacle you encounter i suppose Ramadan is also a challenging month to be away from food for a while

It seems everyone is stuck to the idea of not drinking and eating for the whole day but don't forget that Ramadan isn't about not eating and drinking. Ramadan is all about being patient (meaning staying away from all kinds of sins, not eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset, being kind to others, giving your zakah (charity) etc.) to strengthen your soul and character.
