Same (though Kaz might disagree :p). I do get paid to tutor at the university level, so I can also help with those subjects at the lower collegiate level.

I can also try to help with lower-level engineering subjects and English.

I could prolly help out with mathematics as well. <3 differential equations....but only when they are easy.

i need help on my calculus
here's the problem

the forumla for the adiabatic expansion of an air is pv^1.4 = c, where p is the pressure, v is the volume, and c is a constant. at a certain instant, the pressure is 40 dyn/cm^2 and is increasing at a rate of 3 dyn/cm^2 per second. If, at that same instant, the volume is 60 cm^3, find the rate at which the volume is changing

it is clearly a very hard problem maybe maybe not for me all i see is blah blah blah blah blah.. if anyone can help thanks if not there goes my 73.5 for the class

Don't know if this is correct, but filling in the p and v in the formula gives:

40*60*1.4= 3360

So, c= 3360

knowing this, suppose one second later, then the pressure is 43 dyn/cm², the constant didn't change (because it's constant), so we get:

43*?*1,4=3360
so ?=~ 55.81

so, the volume decreases with 60-55.81= 4.19 dyn/cm² per second.
