Aww...if you were talking about chemistry, there are separate half-life equations for different types of reactions (ie, zeroth order, first order, second order, etc.)

its easier if you just use the generic exponential growth/decay formula y(t) = y0*e^kt where t is time y0 = initial amt k = constant works for half/double/everything inbetween life |

Can anyone help me balance this? C H +O(2)=CO(2)+H(2)OAnd can you show me step by step or like an easier way to do this? There is one, but I forgot. Something about having one side as 1 coefficient and then the other side you solve using multiplication and stuff. |

yo those things are easy as hell you have to balance H and O last so balance C's first and then H's and O's wait till you do oxidation/reduction or anything harder method of balancing... |

C H + 15/2O(2) --> 6CO(2) +3H(2)OFor combustion reactions, balance the carbons first. Then the hydrogens, and then the oxygens. For general chemical reactions, balance the element that is the least common in your equation. Usually, hydrogens and oxygens are balanced last.

Oh but the answer on the book is different from yours. It says: 2C H +15 O(2)=12CO(2)+6H(2)O

^multiply her answer out by two and you get that in thermochemical equations, you leave the unit of the hydrocarbon as 1 mole and alter the rest to suit |

oooo ok lol from first glance I can tell that it was confusing..... ![]() then the 15 shall be multiplied by two to get 30....ok. hmm doesnt 15O(2)= 30 O? just wondering... |

Yah most likely the O2 molecule will always be in fractions when balanced to 1 mole of carbon.... batman knows what shes doing ok

am I welcome here again? to tell you the truth Mi, I sucked at chemistry class but I like doing experiments, but I'm sure if you just input the numbers and look at the reference table you can get the numbers

I need some good Ideas for an Essay..I'm a terrible Writer. The Topic is a comparison between the Salem witch Trials of the late 1690's and McCarthyism. |
