Default Jamie Oliver at it again

Quote:
TV chef Jamie Oliver is in hot water over a joke he made about the Holocaust.
The celebrity cook made the quip while talking about how campaigning show Jamie's Fowl Dinners had been broadcast to television audiences around the world.
The Channel 4 show targeted the brutality of battery-farmed birds and featured the former Naked Chef trying to turn the nation towards free-range chickens.
The 33-year-old gassed chicks and stunned and slaughtered adult birds in an attempt to reveal the reality behind battery hen egg production.
He discovered that male chicks were killed as they were too lean for meat and could not lay eggs.
At the Edinburgh International Television Conference, attended by top TV executives, he said: "We had a lot of complaints about the gassing of chicks from the Germans.
"This has gone all round the world and the one country that had a problem with it ...I thought f****** hell!"
This is not the first time Oliver's comments have landed him in the headlines.
Earlier this year, he issued an apology to Sainsbury's, which pays him £1.2m a year to front the supermarket giant's advertising campaigns, over the issue of factory farming.
The chef also caused controversy by electrocuting a chicken during the programme.
In his Edinburgh speech, a number of Germans were in the 300-strong audience and some responded to the joke with an uncomfortable silence.
German writer Udo Seiwert-Fauti said: "I wanted to stand up and say, 'Hey, after 65 years why do you need to bring that up?' It was a very unwise thing to say - I was shocked."
Oliver's spokesman said: "We did get complaints (about the scene in Jamie's Fowl Dinners). We work very closely with German TV, and the German book publisher and we love all Germans. I'm sure he didn't mean to offend them.
"There were only about a half-dozen people that complained about that particular thing (in the programme)."

Never heard of him. LOL but sounds like a typical Brit. Too bad the PC immigrant assholes have placed boundaries on the British brashness. This is quite the tragedy. Soros is involved. Maybe WaveMaster is too. >D:

^Oh dear.

That isn't the typical brit.

Shall we start the yank bashing?

Afterall, we have an unbelieve endless supply of truthful "ammo"...

Don't EVER associate all brit with that posh tosser.

As for this actual topic, who gives a flying f***?

This line however "we love all Germans." is utter bullshit.

Who actually cares? No one likes oliver anyway, let him get slaughted for all we care.

I like the program that he had for those teens who were in bad situations in which they had the opportunity run a restaurant with supervision of course. He also had a program called "The Naked Chef".

Peewee Herman rocks.

As for Jamie Oliver, I've never heard of him, but he should have known. Germany's not known for their humor.

I always thought Jamie Oliver was of the middle class. He did all them ads for Sainsburys promoting how you can cook a meal for 5 people by only spending 5 pounds.
