Members' Views: Best/Worst Forum Memories

Naruto and Bleach Mania's Exposed would like to know what you thought of the forum as a whole over the past 12 months. Please share your personal experiences and/or the highs and lows of general forum activity. Make a list if you want (if you do so, please be prepared to provide support as your views may be included in the newsletter).

Alternatively, you may PM 4thseal, nidaba, or batman555 with your response if you wish to ~~save your ass~~ maintain secrecy.

The motivational poster thread in the lounge was epic, for its short time..... and then I got banned from it because APack didn't like a few of the images that I posted in it. >_<

Elrond and the forum sale april fools was still one of the best moments this forum has seen.

good: Dunno, i'd say most of this shit is shit, outside of EE"s constant banhammer, Janap's medal controversy, but in the last year, fuck if i know, this place has been sucking for a while.

Best: I'm going with trivia nights and the return to regular activity of some old timers, it felt like a new lease of life for the forums, bah perhaps it was just nostalgia. Heck nostalgia's not what it used to be!

Worst: People not reading OP in threads =P

Best- Providing people with quality reading material in the comic book zone. Battle Area always has great debates. The awesomeness of the Lounge everyone knows. The constant rants of our old friend OD FUNK.
Worst: Dealing with Endomilik in BA, Having to Deal with Elk in General Discussions. God I hate that new nazi kid to.

Ravi and I coming back to NM.

Just teasing.
For me, it was actually St Patrick's Day and getting to know a member I hadn't known before and becoming good friends with them. Definitely the highlight of this year on NM for me. =]

Worst Memories:
That ridiculous lounge/gfx "war" with everyone bitching about each other.
Not being able to beat the Curveball high scores. :(

ETA: For overall good memories though? April Fool's 2007 was amazing. I still like reading over the mod applications. :p

Best: Seeing the News Letter become a reality, watching the lit section grow, yachi becoming a mod again, lokes hiding buckets/closing all the grfx lounge threads, banning duo. And, i do agree, meeting some real good friends was the highlight of the year for me too. =]

And! Being the Curveball champ for a full year!

Worst: Grfx vs Lounge war, yachi stepping down as a mod, the forum cash flow problems, the lounge dipping into beyond idocracy, duo comming back again, flame pit.

Best: Coming back to NM to find that there's old friends, as well as awesome new friends to be had. And getting drunk all the time of course...

Worst: Something had changed. NM stopped being one big family.

That just means I'll have to put more effort into bringing it all together again.
