Social Groups and Tags

Tags have been disabled.

All Social groups have been deleted, and new ones are not allowed to be created except by mods. This will change in the future once I slowly delegate permissions out to certain usergroups and instruct mods on how to moderate them. Not to mention ammend the forum rules.

They don't all fully understand how to moderate them, or what rules are applicable. All will be made clear within the next couple of days.

it's better that way because the tags were really getting abused on all the threads that I go to.

Thank god the tags are gone, they were just wrong.

I'm really sad my social group is gone though, I had some awesome plans for it and me and some of my members were really looking forward to making this work and turn it into something awesome. =[
And there were things to be said to being the first social group on NM!

I understand the tags, but may I ask why exactly the social groups will be limited like this?

Finally !! tags gone ,first i thought they weren't visible to public

i think the user groups will be limited to make sure no one abuse from them

Social groups on the other hand were quite good, while there were some things that needed to be changed and regulated, the whole idea behind them is interesting. Hopefully they get back up quickly
