- Here's The Deal -

Hello, fellow Artists and Designers.

This new section will be used to draw a stronger focus on help and advice for and by us Artists/Designers by way of resources and tutorials regarding Art & Design of all sorts. This includes, but isn't limited to:

- Stocks/Images

- Fonts

- And, of course, tutorials of all sorts

Feel more than free to post individual tutorials in this section, as they are no longer limited to a single thread.

Discussions on any aspect of a particular tutorial are also more than welcome within the thread for that tutorial.

I myself plan to upload an indepth walkthrough of what I consider to be a significant must-know of Art & Design.

Any questions?

No; Discussions of that nature will remain within the Arts & Graphics Lounge

Let's say I posted a tutorial on making 3D-like objects/'fake renders' in Photoshop. Before now, that tutorial would've been posted in the 'Tutorials' thread, leaving no freedom to openly ask about any part of the tutorial one may be confused about. This was the case for any and every tutorial shared on NM. However, with this new section, all tutorials/walkthroughs/etc will have their own thread. Within that thread, any questions can be asked and answered, discussions about certain techniques highlighted by the tutorial -- anything based on the tutorial will find its place in that thread.

Something tells me that topics such as color theory, the golden rule/golden ratio, perspective, depth, and many other graphic design topics will be covered =]

So you saying if I got a question about something I ask here in this thread? If so I wanted to know how to create effects of a stock in your sig. Something like Century Slayers sprite sig. Jin is kicking and it has some wave effect on his foot.
