What I think is that the writer for Naruto is just taking the format many Epics take. for one, an epic usually requires the main character to die.

now, as he is dead he has to go through some ordeal. for example go through hell. and afterwards the main character is brought back to life.

Thats just one of the factor to being an epic.

a fine example of an epic would be Homer's Odyssey

what about if he dies and the fox get him back to life ? or the fox just revive`s his body and not his soul and start controlling his body ?

he wont really die these is just tohype the movie hel come back to live some how .. i know it the fox wont let him die and any how the manga has to much going on for it to let naruto die now is like killing goku on dragon ball z the anime went all the way down from thre that why he came back and they did dragon ball gt .. so yeah he wont die i can tell u that because u saw the end u dont see sasuke next to the other people and we all know his going to come back in the end so yeah ..

he wont die its a hype for the movie they are making to many millions on games on card games sonsole game manga anime movies to kill the guy that gaves the name to the show is like killing 007 in a movie and there u go no more 007 ..

possibly. but like i said, he can die. goes through some ordeal. for this purpose lets say the ordeal is with the fox giving him a test to why he should revive him. just any reason but needs an ordeal. and in the end, his reward is to be brought back to life.

of course again, assuming the writer is going for an epic format. he already has most of the other factors to being an epic.
