Even though post count doesn't increase in the RP section, RPers can still receive reputation. That itself is a reward.

but your rep power stays 0 if you dont have 150 posts.
and seen that there are RPers (i know only the Konoha mura, thats what im speaking for) with a post count below that, they cant rep eachother.
seen that, your rep would still stay zero and it wouldnt be like a pimpass reward =)

Well, I think that General Disscution should not award post counts either, because sometimes what is mentioned there is spam...but there are plenty of times that the RP posts are very short, and meaningless. There are members that find the time to RP and increase their post counts posting in outside debates (Seshen, Alexandrius). If you feel like the post count should be increased, talk to Kakashi. RP is not considered spam, because is no longer in the lounge.

Sorry, didn't state it well.
Was asking for suggestions to help the lit area run smoother.
Wether or not the rp post should count is for another section, maybe debate.
I have never seen a forum wear they do count.

You should just limit threads to users own poems, and that alone. And than a new thread for other peopls poems, that people didn't make and discussion threads for both some were else. So its all poems. I don't think discussions are really needed since, everyone wil say, "Thats great" times a hundred, which is great and all but it, carries away from the peoms and all. Threads for each poem will get lost because poems take awhile to make.

Isn't threre a way with vBulletin to disable reputation in certain areas, aka. the RP section? But, I don't really care, if someone whored there rep there there a whore. I can lay back and say that I earned it all, and so could everyone else. Sorry for going off-topic.

I think a rule should be set to make it so users need to provide constructive criticism for a work. Seeing compliments all the time without reasons or tips is kind of pointless.

No different than the graphic area. Will have ones who say nothing more than "great" and then will have those that tear everyone up. Will balance out soon.

we used to have a contest about moral stories but somehow it ended up in the....well somehow there was a ceratin someone who disappeared and we couldn't make it
