Also, if you're gonna talk about ignorance, you should know that the term "hacker" refers to people who create and edit helpful scripts, as well as people who find possible security exploits in systems in order to help companies.

The word you're looking for is "cracker".
It is easy, but most of us who have even the littlest clue about this are too lazy. The real work is just searching on google phpBB exploits and then playing hit or miss. That is unless you actually know how to edit the exploit for it to work and such, which I doubt any of us except hebe knows how.

No, I used the term correctly. Wether the intentions are good or bad, they find the exploits, and idiotically post them up on the web to "alert" admins. Copy the script into notepad and your basically done.

The word you're looking for is "stfu".

No, Hacker = good, Cracker = bad, easy to follow.

And if it's so easy, someone woulda done it by now, as I've said.

Don't make excuses, going by what you're saying, it's difficult because you can't find a working exploit, which'd mean you'd have to write your own, which, as you say, would be far from easy.

Yeah, it helps that some of the less talented members are thier way with the site now that we are done. Its a shame that it has turned into crappy pr0n spam over and over.

Indeed, especially with a couple of unnamed members figuring themselves as geniuses for doing the one thing they've ever done: posting images someone else made, over and over and over again.

Yea. I mean I'll admit I did a Deadpool attack, its been a while since I did that. But I'm the only one around who does that particular attack. But I also actually did typing. But I only did like 24 posts. Most of the people still doing the attack are pushing alot of posts. So far the only ones who deserve medals are MD and Kaz.

I don’t think any of us would want to meet tubgirl in person and take pictures of her from a different angle, just so we can say that we made the pictures........

This war is as drawn out and tedious as the war in Iraq.

You can't really guess someones password unless you know them, right?

So in theory, for anyone of you to guess his password, you'd have to know him quite well.

His likes, dislikes, family names etc.

Not really...its not guessing..

Exploits are gaps, or breaches in security, kinda like holes.

Someone writes a script, you enter the forums url address, the forum member's nickname that you want to get the password for, save it as .pl (you need perl), run CMD, change path to c://Perl/bin, then run the exploit.

Get the hash, copy paste it in 1 of the million cracking sites, and you have the password.

Not guessing at all..

since im lazy to find a working script, even though there are a ton of exploits when it comes to older versions of phpbb, the 3 I used from google didn’t work.

I have no clue how to write/fix a script, only how to execute it, which is what I explained in my former post.

If I wasn’t lazy as to find a working script, getting the password would take roughly 5 mins.

Anything else?

I am actually really lazy, and if there was a motivator, as to the forum actually being active, then we would have put a better effort to finding a working script.

But a medal isn’t worth 3 hours of searching + trial/error
