anyway, This could happen..after the DOA, people might get some wild idea and go on an anime live action making streak, like it happend with the comic book characters..after X-man, and spyderman it sky-rocketed..abot a gazillion different super hero movies.

I WOULD LOVE a dbz live action..even if it blows...i dunno, I always wanted to a see a dbz live action.

lol. its never gonna happen, well at least any time soon. the rumors started like 5 years ago and they even had some fake movie psoters of piccolo and shit out on the web.

A DBZ live action movie better not happen. Anime recieves enough bashing from the general public without having hollywood making horrible movies and advertising them as "based on the anime"

Hell I know a live action Yu Yu Hakusho movie is plausable.

^ SO TRUE, the concept is not that out there.... Yu Yu Hakusho would have a different name most likely but who cares the story would kick ass and people would be drawn to that.....

the movie starts.... and the main character dies and caries on from there without the entire movie being a flashback.... thats rare...

I think that creating a live action cowboy bebop, bleach, or even Yu Yu hakusho is very plausable HOWEVER, the chances are that it will be good, IMO are very slim. Considering if it is made in america, it will have to, of course be "americanized" for the viewers to understand it a bit more and for some to be less avended (it's sad but it's the truth), also much of the concept of what the shows are all about can be changed and not for the better. To sum it up, it can be done, but I doubt it will happen and even if it were to somehow come true it most likely would be created to a make a $$$. Afterall anime is not as widely regarded as comics in america. Videogames are also a big hit, but the concept of them coming to the big screen has failed horribly.

I dont think Cowboy Bebop would have to be "Americanized" much, Bleach and YYH on the other hand would undergo alot. ugghhh how annoying, an Ichigo with an American accent.

those are nice too, but also the idea's of Evangelion and Monster comeing to the Silver Screens excite me as well.

Monster: I can see this coming. It DESERVES the silver screen as a trilogy. read it if you dont know what i mean.

Evangelion is in pre production according to Matt Greenfield who said that after Kong and Halo WETA might consider Evangelion next.

Yu Yu Hakusho came to America just fine with the translation job....the production and translation job done on Yu Yu is just about the same as Naruto...a Yu Yu or Bleach movie would kick so much ass...

^ Yu Yu had the single best dubbing ever.... nothing was left out.... the scripts were identical.... with the add in of insults and cursing by yusuke.... and the voices fit the personas....

The hard part would be how to make that same effect that Bleach gives people Transend(sp) into a real live movie.

I wannna see the japanese make the Live action movie...

1. It would'nt horribly suck....
2. Hollywood would follow up a few years later with a much improved version with up to date special effects and computer graphics.

Same way they did with X-men and Harry Potter....X-men and Harry Potter made a killing overseas...

I'm a little bias on the Japanese acting....I mean they did a cood job with the casting for the Live Action Bleach Musical....but for the movie....I dunno....
