Why? Seems like that'd ruin the movie imo.
Not knowing what's going to happen helps make it better imo, or else it'd be kinda boring.

Not like you really need to know how it's different from the book either, since the day after it comes out people will say how goo/bad it is and name all the differences between them for you.

I saw this trailer when I went to an IMAX screening of The Dark Knight in Atlantic City last week. When the Harry Potter music started at 1:14, the majority of the audience started cheering and screaming like little school children. Harry Potter is certainly an entertaining series to watch, but I can't imagine investing the time to read the books. Its power-ups are right out of a bad shounen and the plot, while interesting enough, seems contrived.

I would have to say the best would be book 3, hope the 6th one can live up to that one. Least its great to see they are still using the old cast. Heard they may change since they are getting too old lol. Will be kinda weird if they do change :/.

I always though that the best book was book 6, but film 3 is my favourite to date and hope that they do this one justice and don't leave many things out.

I feel the same. I read and have read (past tense) the books for the plot. The movies are just for the eye candy. ( oh Luna.... true jailbait)

That's just BS. He doesn't beat the most powerful dark wizard ever by using his skills in magic, to go any further would be one huge spoiler. But you are just way way off. Big time off.

Lol read the books man, becuase you dont know the whole story.(and the movies after number two hardly do justice to the books in my opinion) There is a reason why he is the only one who can fight voldemort.
There is a reason why the two wands of harry and voldemort dont work good againts eachother. He improves in every book, he is consistantly in the top of his class in defense againts the dark arts. He has good charms grades, and even successfully apparates at an age in which many of his friends are just learning(although he does this extremly focused for a reason, to get back to hogwarts and dumbledore was with him, weak as a dog though) Harry doesnt realistically fully mature into a badass dark wizard stopper until the final book, when he is of the age most wizards graduate hogwarts.

I assure you these powerups you have witnessed in the movies are non existent in the books. Until about 3, harry doesnt really come into his own as an exceptional young wizard...becuase he was still learning the tricks of the trade if you will. And even after that he wasnt the badass character he turned into in the very end.

Harry held his own againts voldemort in the graveyard because of the twin wand problem. Harry's wand and voldemorts wand while different, share the same core, a phoenix feather(from fawks). Brother wands cannot go againts eachother, when they do, they cancel eachother out....so granted standing their fighting harry is the greatest darklord in history..it means shit becuase of the two wands. Becuase of this, voldemorts wands start spitting out his avada kedavra victims in a order(from newest to the very last he killed before he fell from grace). After that the mysty ghosts held voldemort off for a split second, which gave harry running room to grab the portkey and cedric and bolt out of there.

This is not some out of nowhere powerup. He was fortold at birth to be the herald of the new age. Trelawny made a prophecy to dumbledore years ago in some pub, that a child born of parents who defied the dark lord three times, would approach knowing powers the dark lord knew not. And voldemort would then mark him as his equal(the scar, the attempt on harrys life, the reason voldemort even cared about a boy named harry potter in the first place besides the fact that his parents were part of the order of the phoenix) this marking also turned out to ultimatley be the downfall of him, since he inadvertantly turned harry into a horacrux(he unknowingly split his soul and bound it to harry, like a piggy back soul, onto harry's soul, the reason this happened was becuase he was protected by the literal power of love, from his mother)

Blah blah blah i actually dont want to type anymore becuase the amount of spelling and grammar errors are piling, and ive had a long day.

Anyway just read the books, dont simply watch the movies.
I would actually reccomend not watching the movies at all, becuase i really stopped liking them after the second one(even though i get giddy over each ones release)

Simply put, this is alot more complicated story than the movies have explained.(and that little explanation i just made isnt even half of the full explanation)

Basically, the theme of the later books focus on harry's selflessness and the things he has that voldermort lacks (friends, love, fear of death, other corny shit)...all those things play into the defeat of Voldemort. There's no Harry learning hax magic and owning or anything like that.

^Truth, voldemort dies becuase harry along with his freinds destroy all of his horacruxs.(voldemort split his sould into 7, but 8 the 8th was harry, it was unintentional, his killing curse backfired becuase of his mothers love and that was the result)
Plus voldemort thinks he kills harry when infact he destroys the horacrux.
