I wuz just wondering if therez any rap fans here becuz i want ur guys opinion on now days rap. I am personally dissappointed with now a dayz rap. I mean they can't compare to 2pac, Dru Down, Eazy E, Too Short and all the rappers frum the 90'z era.

I agree. Old school rap was a lot better and had more of a story element to it. Rap today has a lot of weird stuff it in, I only like a few songs that were made '00 and up.

Rap isn't even made anymore. I wouldn't classify anything made now as 'rap'. It's pretty much just all bullshit music.

I used to be a big rap fan, but then it all went down hill. Latest rap can't compare to the older rap. There's a few that can compare, but as a whole, forget about it.

Get the hell out of here. There is still some great rap music out there. Old School Eminem (Soon to be returning) (FAV. Rapper) Graphic Joe Buddens Graphic Jay-Z Nas GRAPHIC TI BUSTA RHYMES All classics and not to be put under the 'rap' classifcation cause they make art'

I do agree that A LOT of today's rap is selling out to that whole "hip-hop/pop" scene in order to sell more albums and appeal to a larger audience, however there are still some rappers out there that are spittin rhymes Some of the best IMO: Pac T.I. Wayne DMX Nas Jay-Z

Hmm, ok, he's actually good. Is he new, because i haven't seen him on any of the music channels at all ![]() He sort of reminds of the game when he first started out.

buddens is not new. he's been around for a while. edit: my bad the response was meant to be posted a while ago, but i forgot to hit the button to respond. buddens is nice, but for some reason nothing serious every happened with him. he had a few hot singles and that was really all he got, as far as mainstream recognition goes. I hate buddens, straight up. The song you posted isn't THAT bad, but as a whole I dislike his music. Especially pump it up..

pump it up wasnt exactly his best song, but for some reason it's one of the main ones that people actually remember. focus was a better song and a better single, although there are many other songs of his that are better than pump it up.
