Hip Hop Legends

People think all hip hop rappers are like criminals. Some parents try to keep it out of their children's ears. To me hip hop plays a major role in my life. Hip hop is my life, without hip hop I don't think I would be able to live. Some of the modern rappers that I think have made a big impact on the hip hop community are:

The Game, he is just a living legend. In his music he gets deep into peoples minds. He is one of those rappers who don't just rap about how much money he has or how much girls he can get and thats what makes him such a great rapper. He is one of my favorite rappers.

Kanye West, he is a savior. He saved hip hop, he brought it back to life. The hard work and dedication he puts into his music makes his lyrics phenomenal. His album, Graduation, was one of the best albums I have ever heard. He has the potential to becoming the "worlds greatest rapper."

Lil Wayne, He is just amazing. People say that he is "The greatest rapper alive," I disagree but that doesn't mean he isn't a great rapper. The energy he is bringing to the rap game right now is unbelievable. He has written over 1,000 versus, including mixtapes. The things he has accomplished in such a short time has made him a great rapper. Like I said he's just amazing, who else can sell about 1,000,000 copies of an album in one week? The Carter 3 will be an album everyone will remember. Lil Wayne has changed hip hop and has revived it.

Eminem, People may not agree with me but I believe Eminem should be marked up as a legend. He has faced a ton of obstacles in his life, some he overcame some he didn't. Eminem has been through a lot in his life and he uses his music to express his thoughts. Eminem is a white rapper that has changed hip hop, without Eminem hip hop wouldn't be what it is today. Eminem is my favorite rapper of all time and nothing anyone says can change that.

There are other great hip hop artists but these four in my opinion have been through so much to get to the top. These four deserve to be on the top and some day they will be.

It's obviously more a list of his favourite rappers than the real legends of Hip Hop. It'll be a cold day in hell before I see a list that has Kanye on it with no mention of Nas.
