Wolfmother Split

Australian award winning rock band Wolfmother has broken up, citing long-standing personal and musical differences.

Bass/keyboard player Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett have resigned from the band, effective immediately, leaving just singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale. According to a statement on the band's website, Stockdale plans to find other musicians before making a new Wolfmother album. Wolfmother toured the world virtually non-stop through 2006 and early 2007 on the back of their acclaimed self titled debut album, the statement said. Longstanding frictions within the group then led them to take an extended break during the second half of 2007 to consider their future.

It looks like they weren't gonna last anyways. One album that wasn't bad. Nothing amazing though.

Know him, as in personaly know him? Or more of a, I've read/heard about him kinda know him?

In a way I say good riddance, in another way I'm a bit compasionate for the people who were true fans, but seriously, I never understood what he was thinking.
Playing quasi overactive music and pretending to be a hardcore dick. He looks like the kind of dick you wouldn't even mind and just brush off, like a douche trying to yell the crap out of somebody.

I've allways hated band fights, it just seems so childish to me. Like some commercial spasm the pressure of 'putting out' prompts band members into crabby behavioral dickery.
