Naruto Anime & General Rules

I. No Spoilers
The following is considered spoiler material:

- Screenshots from RAW anime
- Discussion about RAW anime
- Screenshots from manga
- Discussions about manga

If the episode has already been subbed then you can discuss the manga up until that point. Spoiler tags shouldn't be needed in this section for the most part, unless you are one of the first to post after a sub release and feel that most people haven't yet seen the episode. For those who do not know how to create spoiler tags, here's how:

The above code (without the *s) will give you this:

II. No Flaming/Spamming
Neither flaming nor spamming will be tolerated - posts containing either will be deleted and in some cases the offender may be warned. Threads created with the intention of flaming or spamming will be deleted, and game threads that encourage spamming will be locked.

III. Use the Search tool
Before creating a new thread, use the Search Tool to verify that the thread you are about to create hasn't been created before.

Naruto FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: When does the Naruto anime air?
A: It airs at around 7:30 or 8:00 PM local Tokyo time on Thursday Nights

Q: When is the RAW usually released?
A: The RAW is usually released 3-5 hours after the episode has aired on Japanese television by SaiyaMan.NET :: BT RAW / Statistics

Q: When is the subbed version usually released?
A: It's usually released about 18 hours after air time by DB fansubs (http://www.yhbt.mine.nu/)

Q: Where do I download Naruto episodes?
A: Here at Narutomania, or check this thread: Naruto Episode Download Links. Episodes are also available at the torrent sites of the respective fansub groups.

Q: Is Naruto Yondaime's Dad / Is Naruto related to Yondaime?
A: We don't know, but this is an overdiscussed topic.

Q: Will [insert Naruto character here] date [different Naruto character]?
A: Threads like this will be deleted/locked.

Q: When will the fillers for Naruto end?
A: Fillers do not end until the end of March; fillers for Naruto started with episode 136 and are still ongoing. None of the filler episodes are in the manga.

Any threads asking these questions will be deleted on sight.

A reminder about manga spoilers: Do not discuss/quote/mention or respond to any spoilers posted.

If you quote a spoiler or repeat/repost it you will be in just as much trouble as the original poster of the spoiler.

IF you see a spoiler quickly report it using the report feature (the one right next to the dusty rep button). Again DO NOT RESPOND TO IT!!

A manga spoiler is any discussion concerning the Naruto manga that the anime has not covered yet.

If what you want to discuss has taken place in the anime you can discuss it. If what you want to discuss has not taken place yet in the anime it is considered spoilers.

We are going to be very strict on spoilers being posted in the anime section so please THINK BEFORE YOU POST.

A reminder about basic NM rules

1. No 'Excessive' Use of Profane Language.

Excessive is relative. Mods will decide what is and isn't excessive.
No swearing in signatures.
No swearing in thread titles.
No swearing in avatars.

2. No SPAMMING

(Stupid, Pointless, Annoying, Messages)

Both of these rules have been ignored or disregarded recently and as a result me and Cane will be cracking down on them...big time.

As Kakashi has mentioned before this site is a PG-13 site. Treat it as such. If your not sure if your post is PG-13, its simple...dont post.

Guys a quick tip for "what to do" when you spot spoilers.

PM or use the report function

do not reply to the spoiler or quote the spoiler.

If its a thread let the thread die.

If the person posting the spoiler is doing so intentionally , you are helping them spoil by bumping the thread or by quoting them.

So please if you spot a spoiler

PM me or Cane

Use the report feature

Do NOT reply/respond to the spoiler
