Naruto Shippuden episode 71 discussion.

like others have said the akutsuki theme was definately made for these 2 and the animation looks like it has picked up a bit from the average animation of the last few episodes and i see this arc being of a good pace considering how far ahead the manga is. This was 1 filler arc that was definately needed

Glad to see the fillers are over and Hidan and Kakuzu are here. I got so tired of waiting I started reading the manga so there's no more suspense! Though it will be good to see how this story is animated.

Well i'm officially going to start watching shipuden now glad to Hidan his weapon looks even cooler in the anime

It's funny cause this whole time I thought Hidan and Kakuzu were already introduced.. lol, my imagination runs ahead of the anime alot.

Anyway, I loved this filler, and like Poncho said, I felt it was a necessary break from cannon material.

Next weeks ep should be fan-friken-tastic

(hopefully bleach follows suit *crosses fingers*)

Its a good sign for the future that the next episode covers a lot of material. I'm also glad that they are adding filler comedy scenes too. That way they don't have to stretch out the cannon material to fill 20 mins.

yah finally Naruto is going back for training and I hope he can do powerful attack, also, it seems the 2 tail gril not strong enough well we will see that for next episodes.

Yeah like they did in quite a few of the filler eps too, people may not have liked it but they changed the way things are done in shippuuden with that arc and I'm certain they'll keep it up beyond that. Yeah there'll be the odd episode that is slow or poorly animated but that's just how it goes with long running series I'm sure that the anime will go back to becoming one of the best around again.

I now await the return of some of the more avid Naruto fans to this section =D

There not avid if they haven't been posting in five months. Thats called fair weather.

And the one thing that pisses me off the most is when people say that part one had faster paced episodes. I've watched part one episodes many times and they are no faster paced than Shippuden. The difference was the music and many filler scenes. Shippuden didn't have a great score at first and for some reason they decided to get rid of a lot of the filler comedy that part one had. Based on the preview for the next episode it looks like they are getting back to business.

Well since it was fillers I'll cut them some slack. I wouldn't go so far as saying they're fairweather cos these people still read the manga they just couldnt' be bothered with the show in filler mode (which isn't surprising after the torture of eps 136-220.)

I'm just glad that whatever they changed art directors or the overall management of the show. Something has been done to improve the quality of Shippuuden which apart from it's first 3 minutes and episode 26 has been really really poor. (did pick up in bits during the rescue sasuke arc for a bit before the filler) I was close to dropping the show infact had I not known the awesomeness that is to come I may have.

Shippuuden actually does have some really good music, it's not as good as part 1 but the worst part is the timing of it. I have high hopes for this arc though.

the music was the difference i agree, imo the music still sucks for the most part. Some decent music like the akatsuki theme which is pure win and a few others but part 1 music still owns and I wish they'd integrate both.

I still say the worst decision they made was dropping the part one music all together. They should have done what some other shows did and slowly incorporate new music.

At this point I don't even think it matters. I'm more interested in seeing Hidan and Kakuzu in action.

Agree 100% also the reason to drop the guy who created the music in the first part was an even dumber mistake as the music in part 1 was genius and one of the main reasons why the anime was so awesome.

I think some of the part 1 tracks would suit some of the upcoming fights so much more and its still mind boggling why they don't integrate part 1 music- legality reasons I don't know but it would make a hell of a difference if they did.
