So Sasuke is in Shippuuden 2, need a better trailer though. I said that so long ago and still not happy with the trailer in this thread.

according to wiki the first movie comes out on dvd the 23rd. maybe they'll have the movie subbed a few days after that. who knows.

I don't see how they can make Sasuke and Naruto be together or even fight together without totally ruining the manga/anime for everyone. That'll be stupid as hell. You CANNOT have a filler arc with them together given where the story of the anime is going to be at when this comes out. It won't make any sense.

Oh well, it'll be like a year before we see it anyway

It's a movie. They're like fillers arcs but worse. They can do anything they want in the movies and it won't change the anime one bit. An easier way of saying it would be... The movies take place in "alternate dimensions".

Oh, and nothing that happens in the anime has any effect on the manga.

No, I understand that, I didn't say they "couldn't" do it, I said they shouldn't cause it'll ruin it.

None of the other movies even remotely get close to affecting the real storyline.

And again, I didnt' mean that the anime affects the manga, just that, where the manga is at now, having Sasuke and Naruto run into each other in a movie would really suck.

Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter, anyway. This is just another way of capitalizing on the Naruto name. I guess I should be as frustrated with filler arcs as I am with the concept of this movie...

they had like 4 to 5 seasons of filler and are now doing a filler arc in shippuden. theres almost as much filler as there is not in naruto. do you think their gonna care about sticking to the plot?

I don't know but it seems they are together will this one was (Movie 2) i guess was quick to relase the promotion about it I can't wait to see the first one (Naruto Shippuuden Movie 1)

Shippūden the Movie is scheduled to come out on DVD on the 23rd April '08

So its goingt o be released soon, and posted all over the web, while shippuden Movie 2 is ogin to be played in movie teathers, and then they are goign to release the date wen it come out on DVD

Ya, we know how it goes, or we should. If Shippuuden 1 comes out on that date, I estimate that we'll get the subs first week of may. I wonder if we'll see all of Sasuke's moves in the the second movie.
