Deidara vs Orochimaru

I went back and watched naruto manga 354 and Deidara said he was supposed to kill orochimaru... I wanna know do you think he able to do it???

I think he could've won but with difficulty because most of orochimaru's jutsu's are close range except for manda.. and deidara can attack from far away he also has his c4 clay and can turn them into micro size bombs that can go through pores and expload inside of you..and he can also dodge attacks while flying in the air and he can make a bomb that can destroy a hidden village (sand village)

Oro has alot of versatility on his side, with Edo Tensei, Demon gates, Snake Summons, his Kusangi sword and his funky Replacement jutsu.

But Deidara, IMO, takes this, C3 for the lazy kill, C4 for the guaranteed kill.

Why does everyone also bring up Edo tensie like that's one of Oro's most used attavks, he set that up one time, for the Third and never used it again. Any, When you're are DD and Oro's level, anyone can beat any body, what it will come down to, is jutsu selection, intelligence and skill. While both of them are very skilled, and have veristile jutsu, and their both very intelligent, I'll have to give this to Orochi.

@Mento- C4 doesn't go through the pores, you have to breath it in, it works by flowing through your blood stream.

And as for DD having long range advantage on oro, then you see Oro's fight with Naruto 4 tails? Oro isn't human, his head extended for days, and his sword sprewed from his mouth, and extended a huge distance, the distanst factor will not be a problem. As for C3, oro can just summon three gate around him, to avoid the concuvise force, and the C4 I see DD deing before getting it off.

I hope you aren't implying that Itachi couldn't have killed him when he destroyed one of Oro's arms.

But yeah Oro should be able to take out Deidara considering Sasuke defeated him in the end and Sasuke ain't at sannin level yet.

but then again sasuke also said that Oro was extremely weakened when he defeated him and it was Itachi who defeated him in the end with Susanoo.

I'd give this to Oro too, his moves are really versatile and with his replacement jutsu he should easily get away from those sticky bug bombs, due to the fact Kakashi was able to fool them with a normal bushin. His ultimate defence the 3 gates Rashumo(sp?) would take the brute force strength of DD's larger explosives with the biggst problem being the microscopic bombs which he may or may not be able to work out but chances are he would and he'd run or slither away out of range till he comes up with a counter which would be the tsunami of snakes which leaves DDwith the choice of setting the bombs of or be over run with sword weilding snakes, then it's a simple sword of Kusangi to the chest/head while the smoke clears.

I can't help but feel that Oro would have the upperhand in taijutsu but Deidara would have air superiority

true i forgot that he flies on the clay bird, that would give him a big advantage over taijutsu but as we have seen oro stretched his neck and sword all the way underground and then for a great distance in the air against the 4tail naruto so that may be one way of reaching him and the other would be grabbing him with his snakes. There are other tons of forbidden jutsu that he had that we won't ever know such as the one he taught Anko, the double suicide thing and that was before he left the village so who knows what other jutsu he has tucked up his sleves.

Deidara for thiz 1 becuz of hiz long range attacks. I don't think i've seen oro do any long range attacks, most of em are mid range and close. Sorry i don't see how oro can get thiz 1 just becuz of a mismatched fight.

^^ Um hello....4 tails fight???? He streched his head like a mile, and then spit that sword of his out, like two miles, trying to stab Naruto.

But whatever, if sasuke can find a way, I more then positive Orochimaru, ONE OF THE SANNIN, could.

Orochimaru takes this. Distance won't be an issue with Orochimaru since he can strech his neck extremely far long with his sword. Oh and I guess everyone forgot Orochimaru's Hydra technique right?

That snake is as big as mountains... Orochimaru would easily kill Deidara...

That gate thing that blocked the Kyuubi's blast would block any of Deidara's explosions. The only way DD can take this is if he uses C4 as soon as the fight starts.
