Kirin is a lightning strike moving at 1/1000 of a second.

Kakashi's chidori got the name Raikiri for cutting a thunderbolt in half.

A thunderbolt moving at 1/1000 of a second.

Kakashi might be able to avoid it.

But then again you have extreme speed when using chidori or "body activation" so kakashi would basically have to be using chidori to dodge it. And the range of the techqnique is huge, so idunnoe if he could dodge it.

But because kakashi has cut a lightning bolt in half, it makes me beleive he's the only one who's been shown to maybe have a chance of DODGING Kirin.

I wasnt saying he would counter it.

I was saying he has the speed to dodge it while using chidori.

He's been shown to cut a lightning bolt in half, meaning he has the reaction time, and speed to react in 1/1000 of a second.

You don't even know the size of Kakashi's lightning bolt, so that's false until proved otherwise. That's just an assumption of saying my lightning's bigger and better than yours.

Just delete one of them by editing.

I realize that lol. But Uchihaeyez and my point is this. Kakashi had the ability to react 1/1000 of a second to split the lightning bolt. I'm not saying he's going to split that thing, but he has the ability to react at that point, meaning he could possibly dodge.

um...isn't kakashi the copy ninja, couldn't he just copy the karin jutsu. He already knows the chidori, and can at the least redirect sasukes attack.

This match up is kinda interesting since kakashi uses lightning and the sharingan, and sasuke uses lightning, sharingan. The only way to see who wins is by looking at who has more chakra. Sasuke with more chakra could win unless kakashi gets one good shot in with his MS imo.

Kakashi is the better ninja imo (his a lot cooler)

I doubt it.

Sasuke's nature, and shape manipulation seriousley exceeds Kakashi's, despite his nature being electricity, and having the sharingan, i doubt he could harness something like Kirin.

And kakashi has little control over the size, and location of his MS attack.

With Sasuke's speed he would almost certainly miss, and be screwed.

I think it's even more unlikely though that Kakashi has the reaction speed to react in 1/1000 of a second rather than at least anticipating or channelling the lightning.

There's more of a chance from the chidori theory than the reacting that fast. Since then Naruto ninja would truly have a chance against guns and such.

Do you have an argument against the lightning theory? Which do you think is more likely? Kakashi channeling the lightning towards him and anticipating it to split it, or Kakashi being able to react in 1/1000 of a second. Either way it's bad for Sasuke. Since Kakashi may be able to channel Sasuke's Kirin as well and make it miss, or he can be able to dodge it by reacting in 1/1000 of a second.
