i dont think sasuke is a lot faster than kakashi.during the chunin exam, kakashi was the one who helped train sasuke to increase his speed to the level it was at. i dont think sasuke is much faster than he was at the chunnin exam. i think the difference is that it is his natural speed now and thus isnt as exhausting for him to use that speed. correct me if i'm wrong, but i havent seen anything from sasuke that would indicate that he's much stronger than kakashi. i'm not even sure that we've seen anything to indicate that his physical strength is any better than it was. i understand that he has more chakra than kakashi, but he's always had more chakra than kakashi.

kakashi wasnt gettin his ass kicked by kakuzu. he was maintaing, while having to protect ino and chouji who werent doing anything. granted, however, the situation he was in when naruto and yamato showed up didnt look so good, but i looked at that as a result of ino and chouji being dead weight in that fight.


i dont think sasuke has surpassed kakashi. kakashi is a better all round ninja. sasuke seems to have caught up in a few areas, but as a whole, they're not on the same level yet. kakashi would still win this fight.

@ifeany dude they though he was on drugs because he was so fast, during the fight with kakazu i don't once remember kakazu commenting on kakashi's speed whereas when sasuke faced DD and Itachi you can clearly see the shock in their faces at his speed.

I'm going with Kakashi, the MS is too overpowered. If Kakashi didn't have ms, it would be another story.

Itachi and DD was suprised by his sudden increase in speed, kakashi who has the MS can easily track his speed.

yamato and deidara had never been in combat with sasuke before. kakashi has not seen sasuke to be shocked at his speed. kakuzu wouldnt comment on kakashi's speed because it seems as though kakuzu's own speed is at least the same level. my point was just that kakashi is fast too. sasuke's speed wouldnt be a factor against kakashi. in my opinion, the percepetion that sasuke is just all of a sudden better than kakashi because he seems to have gotten better in a few areas is flawed. kakashi would still beat sasuke in a battle.

edit: and notice my posts, dont say anything about the MS. i just think kakashi is better overall.

Your acting as if Kakashi is reatrded, his genius level Iq is up there with Shikamaru. he will know not to randomly spam his MS when the first one doesnt hit, and we have seen kakashi last just as long as any other Sharingan user, its just that he needs like a week of rest afterwards.

The fact that Kakuzu used like.. All of the elementals made the fight extremely hard for Kakashi. When comparing to what Sasuke has to match up with, I doubt Kakashi's struggle in the fight against Kakuzu has anything to say when it comes to fighting Sasuke.

I still believe Kakashi would win this because of the elemental advantage. Sasuke uses a lot of elemental jutsus, and his speed ain't enough to make Kakashi miss on a few blows. He's got too much experience and jutsus up his sleeves to let Sasuke get any sort of advantage because of his speed.

kakashi always says that he tires easily, but when he's fighting, he last just as long as anyone else. he's smart about his jutsu usage however and doesnt waste chakra unnecessarily. i dont think that the amount of chakra they have is actually gonna matter.

i noticed something interesting going back through the old info about the characters. kakashi was faster than lee was before the time-skip. he was one of the fastest rated rated characters. the only person faster was gai. sasuke's speed would definitely not present an obstacle for kakashi in this fight.

I know seriously I thought only Lee and Gai we're the only one who can open gates....but anyways I think Sasuke will win because like Itachi said Kakashi lacks what the Uchiha's have which Kakashi doesn't since he's not an Uchiha.

Because he is always fighting really powerful enemies? the worst Sasuke got was Deidara, and sdasuke had every advantage in that battle and still he barely made it out alive.

Those two frames show Kakashi breaking one of the gates. And it's even more clear in the anime because just after they zoom in on the brain, Kakashi says "Kai!(Release)"

I laugh at everyone who says Kakashi won't last. While he was chasing Deidara he was able to use the Mangekyo 3 times (2 and half if you wanna be anal about it) and then he was still using his sharingan while Chiyo-baa was bringing Gaara back to life. Note that Itachi used it twice and then used Amaterasu, then he had to rest. That's about what Kakashi did with Deidara, and he's not an Uchiha (not sure if that would matter or not ^ ^'). Sasuke has no chance against Kakashi.

kakashi used Gates way back when he was climbing that mountain with 1 hand, this is what im talking about, in your eyes no one can beat Sasuke, and also get your facts straight. He might have said naruto surpassed him, but that was only because naruto acquired a technique he himself could not attain, in a real fight kakashi could still beat Naruto.

hahaha that funny we're make shyt up, Gates is when you forcefully release the restraints your brain has on your body, so you don't exert your muscle byond their limit til they rip, Kakashi was out of shape and could not climb that last 10 feet, so he concentrated, it showed a picture of his brain and suddenly he got a burst of strength and flew up to the top, if you couldn't interpret that from the scan then gtfo since its clear you know nothing of naruto.

kakashi's taijutsu is better than lee's. lee unlocked the gates. i dont really see how it matters much. overall, kakashi is better than sasuke anyway, gates or not. he did seem to unlock the gates though.
